    Unfortunately the issue persists regardless of the Windows version. I really think I’ve got a defective unit.

    That’s exactly the issue here: I don’t have any Windows.old folder since I’ve installed directly the 1803 version. Do you know where I can find older Windows ISOs? Thank you for your patience

    The oroblpris that this happens even wirhthe previous version of the driver (15.x)

    Do you know how to roll back to the previous version of Windows?

    P.S.: I have tried a Manjaro XFCE live environment and it works perfectly! This issue is driving me crazy

    Hello Ferdinand, thanks for helping. Unfortunately your suggestion didn’t affect the issue at all. But I’ve discovered that the problems depends on the integrated Intel GPU, since when its driver was uninstalled (before reinstalling it from the Intel website) the computer was working normally. Of course I can’t leave it only with the nVidia GPU since I won’t be able to take advantage of the Optimus power saving technology and I won’t be able to use other operating systems. But I would be very happy if this information triggers your or someone else’s mind
