January 28, 2016 at 12:02 pm #24128Hi Cyril ! Actually there are no chuwi official docking keyboard for the HI10 and to be honest I don’t think they will release one … The only thing you can do is putting AZERTY sticker over the QWERTY keys and set the keyboard to AZERTY in Windows… It is very cheap, around 2-3€ on eBay (I don’t know about the shipping costs) I was looking for this keyboard too and I think I will try to use the keyboard in QWERTY, if I can’t change my habitudes I will put some stickers Cheers !
January 18, 2016 at 7:49 pm #22919Hi !
In my case I received an U charge with an EU adapter.
Concerning dual-boot, it took to Chuwi.
But originally Chuwi never told that the HI10 is a dual-boot tablet, only leaks told about that, but the original package has a sticker concerning android so maybe one day we will have android on the tablet…
January 18, 2016 at 7:46 pm #22918remix os will never boot as-is on this tablet because that image is not UEFI compatible. you’ll have to get the android-x86 64bit UEFI image and fiddle around to replace the content with remix os’… some dude did it somewhere in the remix os subreddit…
Hi Laura,
I heard this too on remix’s website (for the uefi), is there no option in the bios in order to boot in legacy bios ?
January 18, 2016 at 3:38 pm #22849Hi guys !
I don’t have the Chuwi HI10 anymore, but it could help you
In order to get it work on my MacBook Pro Retina I Had to do this :
Connect your USB Key in the PC
Lauch Admin CMD and type :
Diskpart
List disk
[Look for you USB key and take the disk number]
Select disk (you disk number, without “()”)
Clean (/!\ It will wipe your USB Stick/!\)
Create partition primary
Active
Format fs=fat32 quick
Assign
Exit
Exit
Now you start the Remix OS’s utility and use it to copy the iso to your USB Key
It worked for me, I hope it will work for you
January 7, 2016 at 10:56 pm #21517Hi guys !
have you tried some combinaisons in order to boot in bios ?
you can also try to flash a bios update, check if you tablet can recognize an usb stick (with the help of a blinking led on the usb stick) if it blink, try to copy bios update or bios recovery update to an usb stick formatted as fat32 and boot the tablet on it if available or with it inserted.
here are the HI10 V300 recovery bios by Pzemo

good luck, mine is bricked so I can’t test it out (tablet shutted down while I was doing bios update, it was as erasing step, almost 100%…)
January 7, 2016 at 7:06 pm #21492HI everyone !
@fbrozovic how did-you do for using SPI method? my chuwi is bricked (no bios) and I’ll probably try this but I can’t find anything about SPI on HI10..Thank you
January 7, 2016 at 5:51 pm #21485HI SwanS and thank you for your answer,
I tired but the problem is that the tablet do not recognize any USB peripheral, it just “send” voltage but nothing else works…
I tried USB stick, SD card and keyboard combinations but none of these way worked…
In fact when the tablet shutted down, it was on ereasing momery, between 70 and 100%…
Do you think I can do something like a JTAG or something like that ? If I find it possible for me I will try but I don’t have any specific material…
Thank You
January 6, 2016 at 8:56 pm #21415can you send me these files ? i can’t catch wich file are you talking about…
Thank you
January 6, 2016 at 8:06 pm #21411hi Przemo,
Where did you find these files ? can you give me a link please ?
When I connect an USB keyboard, it star (it is a gaming keyboard with backlighted keys, it turn all on) and when it “starts” I can see on some usb stick models, the light turn on and turn off once, so the device can do something (I guess)
Thank you
January 6, 2016 at 6:25 pm #21405Hi Laura and thank you for your answer
I will try to avoid hardware fix in a first time, if I can’t fix it manually (by software) I will send it back for warranty…
As far as I know, this tablet is using an American Megatrend BIOS (aptio) so there is probably a emergency recovery method am I right ?
I read that someone has recovery his motherboard by copying BIOS update file to the root of an usb stick, insert it in his motherboard (american megatrend) and pressing both ctrl and home at the same time will force the motherboard to get the BIOS from the usb stick…
I tried on my tablet but it don’t seem to work…
Do you have any information about that ?
Thank you
