Yes, I guess I have a very recent model. Serial number is higher than any I have read about: Q64G451611XXXXX. Has there been a change since 451609XXXXX? That’s what I can get a CM12.1 for.

I have not read anything about a changed gsensor. Anything I need to know about that? I can find a “g-sensor rom firmware pack” online but there is absolutely no information with it. These COULD be the files to replace but how can i KNOW?

Do certain recoveries/BIOS/ROMs not work with this new sensor?

I had stumbled across the CM12.1 page you linked before, but got stuck at installing TWRP. Where can I find a recovery & boot image suitable for my CPU (Z8350)? Did you find any? Or can I use any as long as it’s Cherry Trail? I can find files for Hi10, but that’s a very different machine, isn’t it?

And I can find the CM12.1 files for Hi10 and the patch to Hi12. They contain a recovery-from-boot.p Pascal script but no image. I can’t flash those zips, can I?

Can you help me a step further? Thanks!

Is there a straightforward way (for me as not very experienced user) to flash Carlos’ files from Linux? I don’t have a Windows machine here to follow the steps mentioned in post #43905 of this thread, and it looks like the Phone Flash Tool does mainly fastboot stuff to the device?

Grateful for any advice!

I have the newer Z8350 chipset on my Hi12. Do the posted files apply anyway? Has anyone dared to try…? There is no disambiguation to be found.
