Is the WiFi driver in RemixOS better than the one in the stock Android?
I ask because the std. Android does not work reliable at all here, except if I put a Wifi repeater within 5 meters. It occasionally locks up to the point when Wifi stops working and the tablet needs a reboot (very annoying when watching Netflix/AmazonPrime!). Seems to be related to WIFI receive strength, as it does only happen without repeater. Also not on Windows, here the rate drops (significantly) but it does go south completely. I only get occasional blue screens from the realtek wifi driver on shutdown.
September 4, 2016 at 7:30 am #48763Hello.
Have anyone this file?

thanks
September 5, 2016 at 8:03 pm #48963I’ve uploaded on mega the new B2016071401 build from Chuwi. I’ve replaced stock recovery with twrp and modified the new boot.img again to be able to root. For those in previous builds of Remix OS, you can open the flash-no-erase-all.json file (modified to keep the bootloader unlocked) on Intel Platform Tool and select ‘update’. After that boot to recovery, flash supersu.zip and reboot. No loss of data. https://mega.nz/#!wAwEGQxA!cX4lvayPJHCqX7ljfe4tTf1shrFOZquTlBTuOUi851cc ENJOY!
well dunno why, but its not working for me 🙁
in dnx mode it gets me:
ERROR : [Port 1/12] Failed to reboot the device
I cant get to android cause I flashed new SU and it stuck on RemixOS screen.
I rly need to get there, cause I dont have backup 🙁
thanks for help
btw. is there a way to get to twrp when I cant get to remix atm? some button press combination?

To get to recovery, boot your device, when the os select screen disapear pres and hold vol- untill the green robot comes up, then select boot to recovery with vol – or + and press turn on button, it will then boor to recovery

Thanks!

February 6, 2017 at 9:08 pm #61733Is there a straightforward way (for me as not very experienced user) to flash Carlos’ files from Linux? I don’t have a Windows machine here to follow the steps mentioned in post #43905 of this thread, and it looks like the Phone Flash Tool does mainly fastboot stuff to the device?
Grateful for any advice!
Thx, Simon
EDIT: I’m so sorry! Just realized there are Linux and Mac versions of the Phone Flash Tool too! RESOLVED
