Go with notebook to local China store and check for power adapters, should be ca. 3.5mm outside with ca 1.5mm hole.
A universal adapter with different micro plugs will fit – I know because I have one and it works

it’s made of 2 parts so you can have as long cable as you need and plug you need.

the specification of the dc jack is 3.5mm*1.35mm, search 3.5mm 12v and you should get the compatible models.

just note, do buy something rated 3a and above, the chinese interpretation of 12v 2a means it will stop working once it reaches the rating.

Thanks for the responses.  I live in the Caribbean btw.. so walking into a Chinese store is highly unlikely.
