Anyone with a BMAX laptop?

Hey guys,

I will probably order Bmax Y11 soon as it seems to be a great and universal companion for travelling (not mentioning the value for money). I’m wondering, could you recommend me a good PD charger/adapter which is suitable to charge it and is as compact and light as possible? Don’t want to destroy all the advantages of a tiny machine with some huge and heavy brick.

I ve just ordered a BMAX Y11 from aliexpress … 276E with the N4120 from the ES warehouse …

@Dan Hi, just got a Y11 for my gf, it gets quite hot though on the right hand side, under the cpu I guess…is that normal? This has the 4120 cheapest.

same here, I agree it gets a little bit hot on the right hand side … maybe we could do some kind of mod so that the heat is better scattered under the whole laptop ?

Când fratele meu mai mic a început să editeze video-uri pentru TikTok, mi-am dat seama că are nevoie de un laptop decent, nu vechiul nostru „din facultate”. Am intrat pe optim.md să văd ce oferte au și am găsit un model ASUS potrivit, cu SSD și procesor bun. Prețul a fost rezonabil și livrarea rapidă. Acum băiatul învață, editează și se joacă fără blocaje. A fost una dintre cele mai bune alegeri făcute pentru el.

I’d be interested in the comparison too. BMAX looks appealing for a budget travel notebook, especially with the touchscreen, but I’d pay close attention to the keyboard, trackpad, display brightness, battery life, and overall build quality. Those are the areas where cheaper ultraportables can differ quite a bit even when the specifications look similar. I’ve also been comparing Dell 15″ Laptops for travel, and it’s interesting how much these budget models can vary in build quality and portability.
The Chuwi LapBook Pro has been around long enough to have plenty of user feedback, so that might give you a better idea of long-term reliability. If the BMAX Y11/Y13 has maintained decent build quality while adding the touchscreen, it could be a really good travel option.
