There are known issues around microsd cards regarding both compatibility and write speeds. You can find more info on this thread CLICK HERE I cannot get my two 64GB microsd cards to work on either android and win 10 but my two 32GB cards and the 12GB one that came with tablet as a freebie, all work fine. Also, you may find this thread informatve CLICK HERE
Thanks for the replies, will try the andriod trick once Windows has eventually updated and let you know what happens. Frustratingly I have just got other family members a Toshiba Click Mini with W10 and they read the card just fine.
Has anyone gotten a card larger than 32GB to work? Teclast advertises 128GB but I tried the cards at hand and all the ones 32GB and less worked. I suspect the 128GB promise is wrong and it is a 32 GB max but it could be the driver that is the problem, too.
I agree. The tablet (Windows mode) does not work even one card is larger than 32 gigabytes On Android, 128 gigabytes SanDisk works …. Interesting …… Obviously missing Windows driver and the manufacturer does not know what it is.
Folks, it’s been stated in several threads that the sd card problems (capacity above 32GB and write speeds) is a firmware issue. Teclast is aware and hopefully will issue a fix in the not too distant future. Until then, we’re screwed.
