    Hello!

I am a new owner of a cube Iwork 1x. Also a total noob in chinese tablets. I have the dual os version and – as i understand the is normal – the android side does not have the google play services or google play. How can I get that? Is there a less advanced method or do i need to root and flash the cube?

    Help me please!

    Thank you in advance!

so was wondering, to fit it up with dual boot package from Techtablet download’section and been trying to boot the image..but after reading the entries in this thread from the last month.. I will haul that project and accept the win10-only for the time being, Atm it doesnt look like simple “abc-routine” to get a working dual boot bios fitted in a win10-only device.

    Turning the Single-OS  i30L64GB into Dual-OS!

So, it took a lot of patience, trial and error and some nail biting but we got it (thanks to our lovely comrades over at 4pda).

Converting the Single-OS i30L64GB into Dual-OS, was impossible without the necessary bios to flash. This was hard to find until a couple days ago that a very recent version of it was released (v.236 – 8/5/2017). Grab it from from this 4pda post. Format a usb flash drive as fat32 and then just copy everything onto it (root level) and boot the usb on your tablet and let it do its thing. Don’t be alarmed after it’s finished, your tablet might not turn on or respond for a while after it shuts down. Just let it “rest” for a while and it will come back alive again. After flashing and before you proceed with anything further, make sure that you boot into your bios settings and restore all defaults and save and exit.

Then follow the instructions in this post (follow them EXACTLY- use google translate which works just fine here) in order to get a rooted Android version, install TWRP recovery and finally Windows 10. Don’t forget to save your original Windows 10 key.

Only thing with that method is that Windows will be in Russian and it takes a while until you figure out how to switch it back to English (or any other language you’d like).

Again, don’t forget that this is ONLY for the i30L64GB version of the iWork1x.

Otherwise I have a back up of all my working iwork1x drivers here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BwfIairJYiqDaHBwMXBCRlhpcXc

You can grab the sileadtouch driver out of there and try using it to update your touch screen driver. If that doesnt work it may be a hardware failure…

    Hi Carl,

I see you have all the drivers backed up there, I’m having issues with the sound drivers. The “Audio inputs and outputs” doesn’t even appear in my device manager.

Any ideas if installing the correct driver will fix that? Also, would you know which one is the correct one from you list?

    Thanks!

Hi what they say in 4pda is this

    https://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?s=&showtopic=822102&view=findpost&p=61856310

Reinstalling an android without re-scratching all internal media</b></span>

    1. We start the program (it means that the drivers are installed), install</span>
2.Kachayem file .json, we put it with a replacement in the folder with android</span>
3.Otkryvaem program, and looking at the screen I painted zhamyakem buttons:</span>
    A) 1-select <b>Flash editor</b> mode</span>
    B) 2-load the .json file from the folder with the android into which we put it</span>
    B) 3-select the firmware mode <b>UPDATE</b></span>
    D) 4-check that all items are as on the screen</span>
    E) 5 and press the <b>Start To Flash</b> button</span>
We are waiting for the reboot, we choose android, download, rejoice)</span>
Also, by removing individual items, you can flash only a specific partition such as system / boot / recovery / etc.</span>

its the best i can do for you 😛

It would be nice for a Russian to translate all the information they have on that thread because even with google translator i dont understand some things.

Reinstalling without repartition of internal space

1.Download the app (assuming you have fastboot drivers installed), install it
2.Download the json file, put it inside the android folder and replace original one
3.Open the app and then refer to included screenshot for options, press the buttons:
    A)1- select <b>Flash editor</b> mode
B)2- select the .json file from the android folder, we put it there previously
C)3- select <b>UPDATE</b> mode for firmware flashing
D)4- repeat all the options from the screenshot
E)5- and then press the <b>Start To Flash</b> button
Wait while rebooting process finishes, select android and have fun.
You might want to repartition only specific partitions like system/boot/recovery etc.

    Hi,

My kid has dropped this tablet and now front panel/glass is broken in left upper corner – fortunately, touch screen works correctly.
I can see on aliexpress that single front panel/glass is available as a spare part but I’m not sure that exchange is possible and easy to perform.

    https://www.aliexpress.com/item/10pcs-lot-New-For-7-AINOL-Novo7-Numy-AW1-tablet-Touch-Screen-FM707001KC-Touch-Panel-digitizer/32746953499.html?spm=a2g0s.8937460.0.0.6de92e0eOtPfAa

I can’t find any instruction “how to do it” on internet (I searched by words like “teardown” or “exchange”).

Does anybody know how to do/fix it ?
I’m affraid that if I will do it without any knowladge then I will push or use force in wrong place and something will crack or break 🙁
