Hi Emily, my HI12 will not charge or turn on. Is there any thing i can do to get past this issue?
March 24, 2016 at 7:24 am #30685Please press the power button for 10 seconds to see whether it can turn on or not. If it cannot still turn on, please get it charged and press the power button 3 times and then press the power button for 10 seconds to see whether it can turn on. Please check whether the LED flashes, if it does not flash, please get it charged for 30 minutes and then press the power button for 10 seconds.
If it cannot still turn on or charge, you can plug an external keyboard in your hi12 tablet. When you are pressing power button, you press down your keyboard “F7” many times at the same time until your tablet can restart. You should charge your tablet for 1 to 2 hours before doing it.

February 2, 2017 at 5:32 pm #61449Hello,
i have a chuwi hi12 tablet. i was using it when it went off suddenly. it stopped charging (because the light was not blinking). i have tried everything but it is still not coming on. i left it to charge for hours but no results.
when i connect it to the keyboard, the power light on the keyboard comes on and goes off after a second.
i also noticed that when i connect an external cd drive to the keyboard it runs and works, whether i have tried to power it on or not…that shows the tablet is ON (or power is running through it), but the screen is black, no lights, nothing.
please help, the tablet is only 6 weeks old.
What else can i do to get it working
February 7, 2017 at 8:26 am #61759Hi, @jellycorn266
Maybe it is the app problem or the space is not enough. Please check your tablet again. Thanks.

February 7, 2017 at 8:33 am #61761Hi, @boanerge
1.Please check your charger or cable to make sure they can work normally.
2. Check the screen is good or bad.
3. If the problem can’t be solved, please email to Chuwi support [email protected].
February 8, 2017 at 7:14 pm #61878My Hi10 Pro does not recognize my external hard drives in either Android mode or Windows 10. I use the ports on my keyboard. I have no problems with my USB drives. Have you had this problem? Do you know how to resolve the problem. Also is it possible to use one of the ports on the tablet for my external hard drive? I have sent my request to Chuwi service but get no response. Thanks
