Not for my unit, but I ordered a while ago. However, I had a similar delay with the Teclast F5 which is why I got it so late. Seems they have supply issues or Chuwi can’t make enough in time.

Thanks for your reply @Chris. I took forever to pull the trigger on a new computer, and Gearbest said fairly quick shipping, but I made the mistake of assuming that it would get out of the door at Gearbest in a couple of days.
Maybe what this means is that I will wait for the 8 GB model. But of you saw the condition of the current computer I’m using you’d say, “buy anything – now”!
Thanks for your reviews. They make a difference for those of us who want this kind of tech. Much appreciated. I bought both the Redmi Note 5 and Lapbook SE based on your reviews.
October 4, 2018 at 7:05 am #147416The Lapbook SE is great, just replaced my Teclast F7 with it.
Also, I still have my Redmi Note 5, I’ll be checking out the Redmi 6 Pro soon. basically the same phone almost but a few changes.

Did you still have a Lapbook SE you wanted to sell?
The Redmi Note 5 is a great phone. I’m so happy with the turn of events where “tech enough” is replacing $1,000 plus phones. It also helps that I now have warranty support with a Xiaomi phone here in Thailand.
December 5, 2018 at 6:34 pm #148820I ordered my Lapbook SE on the 4th Nov on GearBest and it is still yet to ship despite numerous chats with their online support.
If you are ordering this item I suspect you are in for a looooong wait.

I eventually got my laptop – something like a month after I ordered it. I was very frustrated with Gearbest and thought that they bamboozled me quite a bit in saying that it would ship in less than a week – when in reality it wasn’t in stock while they were selling it.
It’s a great laptop. I had a lot of trouble moving the OS to the SSD drive but that’s because I don’t really understand boot records well enough to make it easy.
At this point I might wonder about waiting and ordering the same laptop with 8 GB (it’s coming out, right? Not sure). I’m quite happy with 4 GB. I can use the machine with lots of tabs open in Firefox, then switch programs with little or no hesitation. In a perfect scenario an 8 GB model would have been available, and I would have bought it over the 4 GB version, but I’m very satisfied with 4 GB.
December 24, 2018 at 8:52 pm #149445As of today I am still waiting for the lapbook se to ship, I might just have to cancel it as this is getting ridiculous. 2month+ wait time isn’t normal.

That’s too dang long. I would have such a desire to cancel just to say “piss off”. It does seem like @Chris is posting about some alternatives to the Lapbook SE these days.
I hope you get something soon. I’m happy with the Lapbook SE (except that I dropped it and bent the case!), and it’s seemingly quite good for the price, but I’m not sure it’s 2+ months good.

Well you are not alone. I’ve ordered mine on the 22th Nov and status is still “paid”.
January 13, 2019 at 5:02 pm #150019do not hold you breath for the 8GB
for everything above 4 GB M$ charges near double for the same Home OS license now.
That is why the N3450 had often 6GB because that was before the M$ price hike.Need Help?
1981 soldered my first Sinclair computer 1K, tapedeck * 1984 build and sold IBM clones 8Mhz, 512K, 20MB HDD * 2018 messing with ultrabooksJanuary 15, 2019 at 6:24 pm #150059Same here, ordered 15th Nov and still not shipped. Would cancel but all alternatives has had a dramatic price raise… Same laptop with 64Gb emmc but without SSD sells for more now. =/
February 19, 2019 at 12:31 pm #150515Did everyone finally get their Lapbook SEs or did you cancel the order? Just curious. Gearbest was quite frustrating on this one. I wonder how bad it got.
February 22, 2019 at 4:23 pm #150567I cancelled mine after two months of promises…

Totally get that. I am glad you did. Will you be getting the 8 GB version that @Chris reviewed recently? (I am forgetting the brand name right now).
February 23, 2019 at 8:03 am #150572Do you mean the Teclast F7 Plus? It seems very good, but I acually got the $200 Jumper Ezbook 3 pro insted.
It has an older n3450 with 6gb ram. But as info on this site I run it with cooling mod and no power limit and Im very happy with it.
It also runs a Samsung 250gb ssd and Linux Mint xfce its very well fast enough.
Use it as travell computer, mostly for x265 1080p movies and series.
