click on migrate OS to SSD choose the new drive, if it does not show up format with ntfs first and try again.
click on the Apply checkmark (top left)
click OK to pre-selected choices.
The pc might to reboot and finish the copy in dos mode (automatically)
just wait for a time and the cloning is done.
stick the ssd in computer, go into bios and change from emmc to ssd boot sequence.
If it boots remove boot partition from emmc and use emmc as backup storage.
If things fail, clone ssd back to emmc, change bios boot order and do whatever feels right. Beer, hammer, window or just live with it.

Is it possible to clone the eMMC to the SSD while the SSD is in the M.2 slot because I didn’t see anyone else mention that you need a M.2 to USB adapter? I don’t have access to one and it is a waste of money if I have to order that adapter.
April 11, 2018 at 6:41 pm #141808you have to try, it depends on your bios and hardware. if not spend 8$ for an usb3 adapter with case or 5 for one without
