Subject : Poor wifi sensitivity (2.4 GHz band only available )

I  received a week ago Teclast x98 Plus II (ID : C2E3/Android only : 2GB RAM +32 GB user)  from GearBest.

Wi-fi doesn’t work properly as sensitivity is quite weak (compared to many other tablets I have used) and data rate (when it works !) is very very  low. I can not use this tablet more than 2 to 3 meters away from the router.

I try online update thru Teclast OTA application but result was unknow error.

Then , I visited teclast site with my PC and check theDownload part:

Unfortunately, dispites I choose english language  when I enter the Download part, everything is in  chineese.

I already sent two time an e-mail to teclast ([email protected]) but nobody answered yet to my mails after 6 days. I had previously a Chuwi Hi8 and from my experience this company was quite good to support their customers compared to TECLAST.

 

By having a deep looking in some forums, this Wi-fi issue  seems to happen very often with Teclast.

Do you know if a patch (and the way to use it) to fix this issue is available or planned since as of today, this tablet without wifi connectivity is useless to me ?

 

According to GearBest, everything is fine my tablet…

After OTA my C2D6 is bricked. It stucks by the teclast logo. Cant use windows or android. Do I have to root the tablet before I can start flashing the android and reinstall the windows?

I have never flashed any kind of device so I would be very very greatful for an step by step tutorial what to do to bring my plus ii back to life! Is there an complete tutorial or manual or things like that? Thanks for any help…

My microHDMI port isn’t working I would like to check if there’s some setting.

Tablet uses 4gb RAM on both Android and Windows… On android, check settings and then apps menu and you will see ram usage. If you check this in “device information” menu it will shows only 2GB, but this info is wrong…
