OTA installation crashes the system. You have to backup your windows in case you have something important to store and then reinstall the whole tablet. My tablet also has got a complete reinstallation as well as lots of others here in the forum. Check this thread, you can find several descriptions how to reinstall. But be aware about your model (printed on the back side)… for C2D6 variant there is only one package avilabe that fits. You can get it on page 8 of the thread. For C2D4 there are multiple. YOu also have to download the windows WINPE archive, that will get also reinstalled. So in total about 8 GB data to download, ~7 for windows, ~1 for Android.

Annoying? Yes, for sure, but you will make it. Good luck!

both worked for me

For me too, so can be regarded as a generic approach as long as the boot.img versions are similar for C2D4 and C2D6.

Hi guys… I’m new to this forum and teclast tabs… Searching this thread I’ve found files to update my x98 plus II to ROM 1.05. But couldn’t find a tutorial. How do I flash this on my C2D4 without messing up windows? I’m currently on 1.03 and it’s won’t work… Thanks!!!

 

EDIT: nevermind… Found the english PDF with instructions. Android is now updated to 1.05… Now updating Windows using Microsoft´s Media Creation Tool! Surface 3 audio driver really gives great results on audio! Thanks again!

hello guys… ive installed the win 10 anniversary update in my language succesfully, but lost the swit¢h to android app… Anyone has it and can upload? Found one in this forum, but its old and doesnt seem to work for the x98 plus II… Thanks!

I don’t know of any newer version for the C2D4.

 

Actually, I don’t understand why this site’s Downloads page doesn’t make it available to us.

If the concern is the size of the download, even providing a link would be very beneficial – at least there would be more assurance that its correct/safe to use files.

The X98 (version 1) guys have tons of standard and custom files available to download.

Hi… You did not understand my request… Im already up to date (1.05 android and Win 10 anniversary). I only need the installer file for the program to reboot to Android directly from Windows (OS Switcher), since mine was unnistaled when I updated windows 10 for anniversary version pt-br.

Anyone else got problems with Micro-HDMI?

It doesn’t work for me. Tried two different converters, several cables on several TVs/projectors. Sucks cause it was the main reason to buy it.

What are the differences between C2D4 and C2D6 ?
