Ok I fixed it, if anybody have black screen when boot to recovery do following:
- Go to Fastload mode and choose recovery, when it reboots and u can choose the OS click android, fast press VOL + and VOL – till fastboot message appears and stop pressing it after 1 second…. TWRP will show up.

September 16, 2017 at 3:26 pm #72198Please help! I got to this step:
- From TWRP, flash UPDATE-SuperSU.zip then reboot to Android
the instructions weren’t super detailed, so I didnt click ‘keep read only’, then I clicked install and clicked the SuperSu.zip file. It installed successfully. I didn’t click the option to wipe cache, and clicked reboot. But now when the tablet reboots, the OS section screen comes up, and when I click android, it just indefinitely stays on the chuwi logo without moving. I’m able to reboot and try again but the same thing happens. And if I try to reboot into recovery, I get an android green bot logo with a red triangle and exclamation mark :/
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get around this? THANKS so much

I offered my kid Chuwi Hi12 but he cannot install games anymore as internal memory is nearly full.
Hibook toolbox links are dead (needrom too) since too much old. Could you please recreate link with it (and idealy also containing exfat and intel drivers) ?

October 31, 2022 at 3:05 pm #224152Thank you very much for the guide! My android installation bootlooped, so I had to follow it one more time.
Windows was very slow, so I wiped Windows and kept only Android partition and extended it to 53 GB using gpt.bin mod – it was compatible with Chuwi hi12.
I need root to limit CPU to 1600 MHz (kernel adiutor app), else it would freeze on high load. Also I had to use app to keep wakelock (for this root is not needed), because my unit would freeze if it enters deep sleep too.
Links to downloads are sadly dead, but thanksfully I still found them archived on my drive. I decided to make a mirror:
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1q3mOwy–XFtJQUgfMChWT4m4IGUB-iJN?usp=share_link
It includes moded gpt.bin, chuwi-android-fs-1.0.4-install.zip and hibook-Toolbox with new ADB binaries (old ones were not working for me) -
