Hello again
I have recieved today the replacement, i test it again and still same problem… Touch issues when charging.
This time i have buy a good USB-C Charger and use it directly on tablet and problems gone, no more touch issues. From now i will use alywas the USB-C Charger. They should build cube i7 and future tablets with usb-c charger in box instead of crappy power supply
January 23, 2017 at 11:33 pm #60843Since you have the same problem with the replacement I would think it’s probably something to do with your electricity supply or house wiring. Seems like quite a rare problem, I’ve never experienced it with the stock charger. Good you got a workable solution with USB-C.
January 24, 2017 at 12:43 am #60845I doubt about that but i will try on other houses too. If is a housing AC problem should type c have same problem? both chargers are not grounded.
But yes they should drop that DC jack and provice already a good type charger
January 24, 2017 at 12:46 am #60846Now i got other problem (i think and i still testing) when i get this tablet it have 0% charge, it took a while before i can turn it on. As i know lithium can’t be discharged to low levels or damage may occur. And i think is the case… I charge to full 100% then i disconnect and windows report 50% battery only, automaticly drop 50% after remove the jack, and windows battery report show same result from 40.000mW to 20.000mW. I fear i get even a worst tablet because this one may have a battery that is already damaged. At least other table come with more than 50% charge at first use 🙁
I will try another cycle to test
January 24, 2017 at 7:37 am #60849I’m sure your unity is faulty, mine doesn’t have any of those problems. Even the touch works perfectly when plugged.
January 24, 2017 at 3:43 pm #60862It’s the secound time in row i send a china table to warranty for a replacement and i get a worse unit 🙁
January 24, 2017 at 5:25 pm #60866Oh, Lord! Where did you buy it?
January 24, 2017 at 5:27 pm #60867Chuwi from Gearbest with same touch problems, returned and get a worse unit with serious problems
Cube i7 book from Banggood, touch problems, and now they sent me a unit discharged over a month or more
Battery report says 11% wear, 2 cycles with me
And the fun fact was in both times a fear that could happen (get a even worst replacement
Note: First Chuwi i get from gearbest havent touch issues when charging, but scren cracked, my luck i guess
January 24, 2017 at 11:10 pm #60880Oh, my… I bought my Cube i7 from AliExpress, no issues so far, only Windows issues but those I could fix by myself.
January 25, 2017 at 1:31 am #60883I only buy from gearbest and Banggood because no EU Tax, otherwise aliexpress all the way too.
And i can say Banggood have the best service for return, because they instant refund postage fee and send replacement before recieve the faulty unit, after i have sent the photos of package and receipt they sent another replacement. Gearbest is trying to scam me, 1 month after they recieve my tablet and still they say not recieved, full tracking and they still saying not recieve and have to wait…
Also i will not send this back, if battery goes worse i will build a pack my self and replace it using the pcb and wire from the original.
I already have done the heatshink mod, getting 20-28ºC idle and max 70ºc burn test
January 25, 2017 at 2:08 am #60885No matter where we buy here we have high taxes. I friend of mine bought a phone and received it with no taxes and he was bragging about it on Facebook. How lucky!
January 25, 2017 at 2:14 am #60886What is your country?
January 25, 2017 at 3:09 am #60888Now i have plugged a usb c hub to test it (HDMI/USB3.0/USB-C/RJ45) and it works. After disconenct i see sparks from tablet USB-C connector and screen do some horizontal blank lines and disconnect the keyboard xD This tablets have a very high quality 😀
January 25, 2017 at 3:37 am #60889New update: Tried a good stabilized 12V transformer and works without touch issue!
