I am looking for a touchpad protector for the Jumper Ezbook 3 Pro. Mine comes with the black touchpad. The stock black touchpad in my opinion looks bad in contrast to the aluminum body. And the plastic really absorbs all of your finger oil. I read that the Jumper is close to a Macbook Air A1466 clone, but when I checked the dimensions for both touchpads, they are close, but not exactly. I cannot find the listed dimensions of the Jumper touchpad, but measuring it with a ruler, it seems like it is just slightly too big. I’ve also tried to cut out a custom touchpad cover from a vinyl laptop skin, but although it works, it is difficult to get the edges rounded perfectly. Has anyone actually put on a touchpad protector/skin/cover on their EZbook? If so, could you let me know where you got it?

mine after like 40 days of use as primary laptop already has visible mark on its touchpad. So yeah looks like its not too resistant. Obviously ezbook is macbook clone so i wouldnt be surprised if  that protectors would fit perfectly. 1.5$ on ebay. But i dont want to waste more time and probably will use furniture pvc stickers that have various patterns on it. You can buy it in furniture stores from big rolls, usualy 1m wide. 10cm of that is enough for the rest of your life. I think any tape will work, trick is to make it look nice.

trace the touch pad outside with paper and a pencil

lightly glue together with new pad (double sided tape)

cut out the shape, remove paper and tape and stick on an exactly fitting protector.

Thanks for the info. I just ordered a laptop skin that has a white marble finish. I’m looking to cut it and paste it onto the trackpad. Just a few weeks of very light use and the trackpad is already showing signs of wear.

Check what i did yesterday – its this furniture pcv sticker with wood texture on it. Its not as nice to touch as original touchpad but it works ok. Previously i used yellow paint masking tape and touchpad feel was great, unfortunately it was yellow and too narrow.

The showing wear is normal and depends of your amount and the area of usage. It also has to do with skin oil.
I personally work with a high speed, high precision setting. I need to move my finger just a quarter of the pad fast to move from one corner to another. When I slow down the cursor slows down even much more for pinpoint accuracy. This is my fist setting on every new PC, since I hate to move my finger several times over the pad to move from one side to another.

You see this in the wear pattern right upper quadrant. The small area in the left lower quadrant is the left mouse click.
I have slight oily skin (like most people) so the used area gets shiny.
A wipe  with rubbing alcohol would remove the shine.
Also the skin over time grinds the touch pad smoother.

The red circles are the wear areas while the yellow box is just reflections.

How did you cut out the shape? Did you apply first and then trim with a razor?

step right up folks for the amazing transforming touch pad.

You see here my Jumper 3S after to the day nearly 6 months of daily heavy use.

It is dirty, it is spotty, it looks icky, it might be sticky. How could they put such a cheap quality pad into that cheap mackbugger clone.
What, you do not now what a mackbugger clone is? Simple say at least 10 times as fast as you can Mac Book Air – listen what you are really saying. If still in doubt, say it to your phone and listen.

No where were we – kinda lost?

No the was the terrible dirty, filthy touch pad.

Look at it it is in full HD so look at it full screen.

Now step closer and see the miracle happening before your own eyes.

Just a  few wipes with a paper towel with some window cleaner sprayed on.

    TADAAAAAAA.

    It looks like new.

You just learned a secret of good second hand merchandising – a good clean.
