Hey, after reading great reviews and feedback and seeing Chris’ review on YouTube, I decided to order the Jumper Ezbook pro 3. But after seeing all the negative posts here and Chupa’s “stop buying it post” I’m starting to regret it even before it has arrived, and I can’t cancel the order because it’s already been shipped out. So, was I wrong to buy this laptop in summer 2018(with the newer versions being worse than v4)?

Will be interesting to see if you receive a newer variant. Essentially exactly the same but with further issues ironed out. I’d say worse case scenario, the laptop will be fine except it may have the defective battery that a lot of us have fallen victim to. It may seem fine for a few months but the battery either drains fast or cuts out when a certain % is remaining.
I have just ordered a replacement battery that fellow EZ book user euplio bought and fitted, so hoping I can resolve the issue myself. I bought from geekbuying and I raised a ticket with them, they wanted me to ship the laptop back to China for repair, but I requested a partial refund of $30 which at least covered the cost of the replacement battery.

Can you send me a link of the battery just in case? Also do you know if I can take the battery to a local tech store and have them replace it? And as I understand, you didn’t send the laptop back but they gave you a partial refund? How?
Thanks for replying anyways.

Here’s the link for the battery:
Here’s a guide euplio put together, it’s not too difficult, some minimal soldering required. I just submitted an order query and sent them a few photos of my faulty battery and a video showing a random shutdown.

Ok thank you for the links. Do you think it’s also necessary to get a 2a charger with the new battery? Or is the laptop’s one ok?
Also, can you please do a kind of a tutorial video when you install the battery? Because I’m not sure I understand what I’ve got to do.
July 30, 2018 at 10:11 am #144900if you check the forum or simpler my need help? link below you find all you need.
But I find it hard to understand if you checked the forum why you still ordered the 3 pro This is the model with the most problems ever encountered in a single model line. 2 months ago Chris told the teclast is superior …
if you are smart just do not accept the delivery and get your money back after a while.

I didn’t see the forum when I ordered the laptop. I saw Chris’ and others’ reviews and I decided to buy it. And then I saw the forum and learned what’s going on with the new batches. And I regretted my order.

How can I do this? I haven’t even paid with PayPal unfortunately, I paid with a debit card…
July 31, 2018 at 9:12 am #144923then hope for the best, prepare for the worst, check everything at the arrival do some extensive test and talk to the seller when problems arise.

Chupa I saw that I can return the product without even opening it and get the refund. I saw that I’ll pay for shipping but it’s worth it I guess. If they refund me in store credit, do they refund all the amount of momey so I can use it on another laptop?
July 31, 2018 at 5:38 pm #144949the way the problems with that product are I would go that way or even better refuse to accept delivery and talk to the seller to just credit it towards something better.
it is cheaper to refuse then to resend, also faster.

Sorry for asking, but I know nothing of these things. So, when the package comes I just say to the delivery man that I do not accept the delivery and to send it back? And then file a ticket on GearBest and say what? Isn’t safer to first file a ticket and then send it back? Also which laptop do you recommend me to buy at around this money?
July 31, 2018 at 11:05 pm #145003Sorry for asking all those questions again
August 1, 2018 at 11:08 am #145026just do not open the door, he will leave a note, ignore the note, It gets send back.
ask seller your notebook did not arrive if they can credit you back or …
Then do some research, When it will be time for new on for me I will go the way of the used brand name or check if anything local is on sale because of new models.
I have 2 Chinese laptops and they are my first and last ones
Compare that with my 2 hp stream 13, far superior build, no battery degradation since 3 years still look like brand new, kick ass design and colors and a power button where it belongs. also a real psu
even with just 2/32 gb and a 64GB micro sd as additional memory they work sometimes better than the apollo lakes. (see post “ay caliente”if you want to have piece of mind, buy local
I got in the last few years exhibition models 2x hp stream 1x thomson (new but on sale) 1x asus gaming pc also reduced and still what you get new is not cheaper then this was 3 years ago.Need Help?
