Yes it happen to me once or twice…. Battery level no matter…. I don’t know what was the reason…. Definitely not overheating because I did cooper mod and my temps under load max 71…. I think that could be graphic driver issue… If this happens again try to disable power save mode (Intel graphics panel)
October 10, 2015 at 8:35 am #12967someone solved the problem???
October 10, 2015 at 11:53 am #12981Hello, and thanks for your answer 🙂
I’ve update the graphic card driver, and the Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery driver ……. Nothing changes
I’ve charge my tablet with a less powerfull charger (2A) ……. Nothing changes
Actually i test a “Repair Windows 10 Image using DISM”, I would inform you of my investigations !
if you have any solutions, I am Here 😀
October 10, 2015 at 11:57 am #12982Unfortunately nothing from me….. I m new in this field 😉 my other problem also some time the tablet shot down….. Why? Sorry about my English ?
October 10, 2015 at 3:00 pm #12990Where you pushing the CPU hard doing something or gaming> I can only think it might have gotten so hot it shut itself down to protect the SoC from damage. But that’s unlikely, still only thing I can think of a driver crash or related.
This hasn’t happened to me yet with my X98 Pro. If and when it does, i’ll let you know.

Next up for review:
Ordered and waiting for my: BMAX S15 & Teclast F6 Plus
Currently testing: LG G8X & Redmi K30October 10, 2015 at 5:10 pm #12997No no, never games, that same shutdown if the tablet is cold, no relationship with the heat.
the only condition being below 50% of battery life without charger plugged
I have updated ALL drivers, several windows repair attempts ….. it always shutdown….
I’m really desperate, I’ll do with the seller to make an exchange or refund
I hope that I am just an isolated case
October 11, 2015 at 1:38 am #13010guys the tablet when in windows shot down and don’t want restart (but if i put the tablet on charge ,but it is has more than 50%) after 1 minute ofncharge will restart and when it was in android i have all time prpblem with google play service, every 5 minutes a pop up show on the display
October 11, 2015 at 8:38 am #13015Since this morning, like you, when the tablet shutdown, it is impossible to turn it on, I have to leave the charger for an indefinite period to turn it on. I think it is a hardware fault, personally I would change the battery
October 11, 2015 at 12:11 pm #13032I don’t think so…… The problem are more then one…. But how it is possible change the battery? And how it is possible has money back? I bought from aliexpress please help me thank
October 15, 2015 at 8:07 pm #13310I’ve been seeing the same problems here described and now that you guys mention it: every time when battery is below 50%. It happened when:
-I plugin the HDMI cable: once
-try to start the APP store in windows: twice
-tried to watch a video: once
-wifi connection died, tried to reboot but only black screen: once
if anyone can solve this please I would be so grateful. I bought via Gearbest (yes…am one of the few that actually received the tablet, after only 4 weeks (!!) and a lot of pushing)
Probably no hardware issue but some driver or setting. I am glad to share my grief with you, you are not alone 🙂
And as we all know sending it back to China is the worst option of possible at all 🙁
October 15, 2015 at 8:08 pm #13311pS: the tablet also charges very very slow…maybe a batch of faulty batteries??
October 17, 2015 at 12:06 pm #13420Hi Dennis, i’m experiencing the exact same problem, and i received it from gearbest too (after a looooooooong wait).
It’s keeping shutting down after less than one of normal usage (no games)..and is definetly not a temp problem because it dies when is still cold.
I don’t know what to do because i don’t know where the problem comes from. I hope i won’t have to send it back to gearbest.
Any help appreciate, thanks!October 18, 2015 at 7:58 pm #13566Hi guys
Tried lots of things (see my other forum post) but to no avail…
Im a hardware guy and do not believe this is a hw faillure
-we all experience it under windows, broken hardware would fail under android as well
-its always the same battery % where trouble begins
I think the problem is in the windows 10 version although I dont know what.
Until Teclast adresses this I keep harassing them on theirfacebook and keep working under android. When i need windows Ill connect the charger first. Ordered me a powered hub so I can connect both charger and a Mouse or keyboard.
Sending the tablet back is not an option. Asked gearbes for support days ago but no response. Imagine the hell to send them back the tablet which costs 40 dollars and the tax I paid for getting it to the netherlands is gone too. I guess i have to live with the imperfections coming with Chinese tablets.
October 18, 2015 at 9:15 pm #13571Hi all
Been following all with Interest.
My unit K9C6, 1 week old battery went flat, cable fell out of charger was not paying attention.
Did the Reg fix Passive/active then I noticed the charge was showing 29% then quickly went down to 0% then off.
Must have been dead flatPlugged in supplied charger, monitored power usage peaked at 14.4 watts at switch on then down to 4.4 watts while charging,
unit would not power on, while changing till after many many hours.
Every 5 minutes or so the screen would light, show the Animated battery charging logo then off this happened continually. The supplied charge 5v/2.5 amps = 12.5 watts if I am correct, so 14.4 watts at a peak cant be good.
3 amps as mentioned elsewhere could be better.Today now that unit is fully charged it peaked at 9 watts then down to zero.
This may prove and only guessing could be Bios/Hardware more than windows.
Bios Mode for Android is OK but Bios mode for Windows is sick.New to using these China Tablets with Win/Android have Media Boxes Win/Android and don’t see these problems.
Fun Times.
October 19, 2015 at 7:33 am #13594Hello All,
what I find strange is that we are not much to complain about this problem ….
To believe that this is not a general problem, but isolated.I think to a hardware problem, I think windows watching something on tablet and receives erroneous information at a time that is off the power directly, that android does not monitor that…
