I also had a problem of tablet shutting down without any warning. After doing some testing of different settings, I tried something user “Dennis van Elteren” posted in other thread:
-Set system cooling policy setting to passive (need to add trough register)
-Set Win10 “Battery Saver” to kick in at something like 65% of battery(system settings)
After doing this I managed to play Fallout:NV until full battery depletion, no crashing/shutdowns and smooth framerate. Max processor state was set at 100% so no downclocking, allmost fulltime turbo. 50% brightness. I have done thermal mod, max temp while playing 85c, average 76c. No throttling on any core.
December 20, 2015 at 5:16 pm #19305I can try this but either way, the tablet is not functional because of manufactures, so it’s a fraud, right..
Any way, will the problem be solved as another new firmware.. if that is the case all right
The problem is that it happens with windows, android and even if I have in the bios, past five minutes it goes downThanks
December 20, 2015 at 7:27 pm #19323I check the topic of Dennis
but his problem is only on the windows
my tablet has problems just by being connected, last a while, 5 minutes ,it reboots, it probably is overheating, but that’s not all
I will leave here some pictures

Now the only chance is if I try to repair somehow the problem by myself, but until now I’m having trouble turning on the tablet.December 28, 2015 at 2:23 am #20133I tried to reinstall the BIOS for this topic, but once I get it, with some difficulty, everything remains the same..

August 23, 2016 at 4:52 pm #47749Having very similar problems with m y newly purchased x98 plus 3g (A6C9).
I’ve found that when battery is below 50% with the charger either plugged in or not plugged in…the device will seem to freeze for 2 seconds then crash and reboot in both android or windows.
The device seems to be more stable if the battery is charged closer to 100%. Not sure how to go about fixing this problem.
November 23, 2016 at 10:23 am #57296Hi
I have a Teclast X98 Plus (A6C7) Dual Boot and I have a similar problem
The problem is:
Under 50% batery, the tablet auto turn off several times. In economy mode, the behavior of tablet stay more stable. But, in economy mode, under 15% batery, the tablet turn again auto switch off. Most of time, the tablet turn switch off when made a selection. If I dont touch in tablet, it dont turn switch off. No overheat. The problem is visible in both SO, Android and Windows. I made a factory reset, clean several chinese app and scan with Dr Web and Eset Mobile to clean a hide app malicious.
What you think, the problem is the software or hardware?I think is not the hardware, because, the tablet only switch off after load boot and charge OS (Android or Windows). The problem never hapen during operation to choose OS in load boot. Only when the OS is fully charged does the problem occur.
Is possible to solve with a update of software?
Someone already solved the problem of the tablet auto disconnected?
Thanks
António Graça
