Great info Wylver. I appreciate your time. You have put my mind at ease. My charger has gotten so hot that I’m pretty sure it may burn sensitive areas of skin if touched for too long on the sides. It’s a little too far on the hot side for me to be comfortable leaving it charging without keeping an eye on it.

While I love the idea of USB-C charging, currently I use my port for other purposes. I have looked at hubs, but some quality control issues have steered me away for the time being. My hope is that the products will become a bit more refined when I finally order one.

    Sure thing! http://imgur.com/a/CVWh2

Sorry my phone is dead so I had to use the front facing on my tablet which is horrid obviously haha, but there it is. The case I have it in seems prone to wear if I remove and replace the tablet too often, so I try not to.

This charger also gets overly hot which is a concern of mine too. I love the tablet otherwise, so much fun drawing in photoshop. I wish they would get these chargers under control….why design such a beautiful device and disrespect it with garbage potentially damaging chargers? :O

I’m also putting extra wear on my battery by having to take it off the charger and drain the battery (due to the ghost touches making it essentially unusable without a mouse). I’ll probably order some backups for when I lose too much capacity, as according to battery report I’ve already lost a decent bit.

    Hey folks

My cube i7 book is having the ghost touch issues due to no grounding in the supplied dc charger. I’ve read probably too much for my own good. I have seen contradicting statements about the polarity of the dc charger. I found this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01G1TPK94/ref=olp_product_details?_encoding=UTF8&me= on Amazon and I was wondering if anybody had any experience with this replacement charger. The last thing I want is a fried tablet! I’m currently out of town at a relatives without the ability to use my multi-meter to check polarity properly, and the supplied charger has no indication of polarity from what I can see.

Any input is greatly appreciated. I love this device and want it to last as long as possible.
