    I recommend you escalate the dispute with paypal. Simply put, GearBest DOES NOT have these tablets. You WILL  NOT get a device from them. Escalate the dispute to a “Claim”. What will happen next is paypal will reach out to GearBest, and they will not respond and will essentially make you wait 10 days, and then paypal will refund you the payment you sent to GearBest. I just went through this process a week ago, and paypal saved the day.

    I ordered my tablet from AliExpress from VENSTAR store, and I was extremely happy with shipping speed and It arrived in great condition. I also got the keyboard and stylus from VENSTAR on AliExpress as well.

    I went with an AliExpress seller who shipped mine the next day… Even sent me photos of the unit with my name on a little paper tag to prove they werent just stock photos of devices they have. Its currently in DHLs hands on its way to me… very excited! I also got the keyboard off AliExpress…

I placed an order with them, paid in full via Paypal on 12/1… still have not heard a peep out of them, opened a paypal dispute on 12/11, still no word. Im sure they’ll allow the paypal 10 day dispute period elapse, and I’ll get my $400 bucks back… Best of wishes in your transaction with them. Let us how how it all works out… hopefully for the best!

    I find it to be abnormal… paid in full via paypal on 12/1 –  no word at all still 12/12. Ive already placed a new order from VENSTAR store on AliExpress (it was slightly priced higher) it was shipped in 2 days and I already have a DHL number that is actually traceable.

    For the record, ive opened a PayPal case against GearBest for lack of communication and for still having my order frozen WELL after the 3-5 day dispatch I was assured. Has anyone on here actually recieved their X2 from Gear Best?

    Greetings everyone. Just a heads up for those looking for a source with IMMEDIATE shipping (they have the keyboards and stylus IN HAND ready to ship) I found an AliExpress seller that has sent me images of then items with a timestamp photo for proof. They immediately responded to my email and I have cancelled my keyboard/stylus order from GearBest and have ordered the keyboard from this vendor:

    I am getting prepared to do the clean installation when my X2 arrives…

    Are you preparing your USB media with FAT32 for use with a UEFI Windows 10 installation or are you preparing the USB Media as NTFS for use with a BIOS/CSM installation? I am imagining that with the BIOS used on the X2, that UEFI is the correct method.

     

    Also For what Its worth, I do intend in doing a very nice pictorial of a heatsink mod using copper shims and high thermal conductivity heatsink pads (Pads that are at least 5W/mK thermal conductivity).

    I ordered the whole set: X2 tablet, Pen, and keyboard from Gearbest using PayPal (at least I can use that for leverage to refund if necessary). I am hoping to have them before the new year… Perhaps I am being too optimistic.

    Greetings everyone! Just placed order for the whole set, Pen, Keyboard, and X2 from GearBest with some pretty good cyber monday pricing. I chose upgraded shipping. That being said, I will be definitely working on a heatsink mod and will post photos and parts lists to make it all happen.

     

    Anyone else have experiences with buying the X2 from gearbest?
