I guess you forgot to read every guide on the internet saying you have to extract your Windows 10 key BEFORE removing your preinstalled Windows 10. As mentioned in the first post here X98 Plus Tricks/Tips There are some less legit ways to activate your Windows without the key. Search the net for KMSnano or KMSpico. At least it will make your fully legal Windows 10 activated by less legal means.
Annoyingly I think I managed to find the one guide that didn’t mention anything about backing up the key, but anyway thanks for your suggestion.
The charging… Do you use an OTG hub at the same time as charging? In that case, it’s Teclasts which forgot a setting in their locked BIOS making charging while using OTG not functioning. It starts charging for a few seconds, then just stop. Charging directly without OTG should work fine.
Yes I did know about the problem with otg charging hubs (I’ve been looking though all the threads trying to find if someone found a working one), the problem I’m having is with the charger plugged directly into the tablet. As far as I can tell it is charging a little when the screen is off, but not when I’m actually using the tablet, so I would prefer if I could get a better charger.
