For anyone wondering about the original issue of this post, I managed to disassemble the X6 Pro in the end. I had to use more determined moves when going round to take off the back cover. Initially I was a bit afraid that I will break something.
So this problem can be marked as solved.
October 26, 2021 at 2:59 pm #222102Hi Giuseppe!
I no longer have the Teclast X6 Pro, but the touchscreen worked quite well for me. I used openSuse tumbleweed and Fedora 34 on this tablet. It has been a nice experience, the screen was amazing, I will miss that. But I needed more power, more memory, so I sold it and decided on a linux laptop instead.
I have looked for the original Teclast stylus for X6 Pro everywhere, but it is not available anymore, not even at the manufacturer, so I cannot comment on that at all.
There is a newer model: Teclast X6 Plus is the official name, you might be able to get that with an original stylus, which uses newer technology and has a finer level of pressure sensitivity. I bought this stylus from China, but it wasn’t compatible with the X6 Pro. I still have it, in its original box, if you need it, let me know.
There are many other Chinese tablet makers on the market, I would recommend to have a good look around and compare the hardware specs, just to have an idea about what is on the market. If it is important for you, perhaps look for information like the year and the power of the CPU, the type of the screen, the technology used with the original stylus, and other details that matter to you, perhaps even reviews, to get an idea of what is newer hardware and what is older. This way you may be able to make a better decision for your needs.
Even like this, you may need to tinker with the hardware drivers on linux. For example, I could not get any camera working on the X6 Pro, but that wasn’t a problem for me at all.
I hope I did not mix you up even more with my reply 🙂 Good luck in your search!

As mentioned earlier, we can access drivers and other downloads on the Chinese support page:
http://www.teclast.com/tools/pad/pad.php?t=p
On the English version of their website, you can find <span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>only</span> a “firmware” download link, which is a Windows 10 image of almost 10GB, no separate download link for drivers-only.
My Teclast X6 Pro has a different ID: K5E4, it is an m3 6Y30 cpu, EU version, but use your device id, found under the flap on the back of the tablet.
The Chinese download page leads to Baidu downloads page, to download we need a Baidu account and BaiduNetdisk software. Pretty hard to register for a Baidu account, if you are not Chinese and don’t have chinese phone number.
However, searching around, I have found a guide, helping to create an account.
Basically, you need to install DuSpeaker app (Baidu) on your phone, to allow other than Chinese phone numbers to be used for a new Baidu account. Not all countries are listed, mine either, however I was lucky to still have a number from another country that I could use to receive a registration code in an sms.
Not fully up-to-date, but still usable, here is the guide:
How to Register Baidu Account Without Chineese Phone Number 2020 100% Working
Please search online to get the DuSpeaker app for your phone.
Once you have a Baidu username/password, use these to log into the BaiduNetDisk application offered when you try to download the needed files. Going through a last captcha and your download will start inside this app. The Download speed is awful for me: 100 – 150 KB/s. The drivers package is about 450MB for my device, it will not take forever to download it.
The process described above is hard, as everything is in Chinese, try to use Chrome with Google Translate add-on, perhaps another phone with Google Translate camera translation, and a lot of your patience.
Good luck!
