Yeah, I agree. Palm rejection has to kick it when the pen is hovering above the screen. If it only kicks in after the pen touches the screen, it means that the palm rejection is crap. That’s why Wacom and N-trig is good. Palm rejection is very important for a good writing experience.
May 8, 2016 at 9:14 pm #36487Does it require a battery?
yes it does it looks exactly the same as the teclast one, it requires an AAAA battery
How is it ? Any annoying problems ?
works fine with normal usage. it does have good pressure sensitivity but it does not have the floating palm rejection like the type you get from wacom pens. You will have to make contact with the screen for palm rejection to trigger.
Serious? You’re absolutely certain there isn’t palm rejection? Even my crappy synaptics stylus (i.e. dell) has palm rejection.
https://youtu.be/w56MKs33HEM?t=173 The teclast stylus has been tested to not workMay 8, 2016 at 8:39 am #36412Hey this pen just arrived and it works on my chuwi hi12 dual boot version. https://detail.tmall.com/item.htm?id=530875840356 and it does write Chuwi HiPen H1 on the box. and the whole box is chuwi branded.
Does it require a battery?
April 16, 2016 at 5:04 pm #33809I’m thinking of returning the tablet, because Chuwi said dual boot would be supported.(and it doesn’t seem to be) But my best reason is that the tablet produces a high frequency sound when the brightness is between 0 and 25%. :/ I also sent my first X98 Air 3G back, so it’s not the first time(I had GPU problems)
If it doesn’t support dual boot its either that you purchased a non dual boot version or your supplier lied/made a mistake.
As for the high pitch whine at 0-25% brightness, I’m interested to hear if other users are having the same problem as you.
April 16, 2016 at 5:02 pm #33808It should. But likely that you’ll have to lower the resolution.
April 14, 2016 at 1:54 pm #33509Yes, but how much capacity can you add? In my opinion, this is only worth while if you can upgrade from 11000mah to at least 14000mah.
April 14, 2016 at 9:07 am #33446None of my stylus pens seem to work on it. (Active ones) Dell pen and Teclast.
They did say that its 512 pressure levels IIRC. Dell and teclast pens I believe are 256 levels hence it should be a different pen/tech
April 12, 2016 at 2:04 pm #33171I do hope this product can be used, from Taobao, China http://world.tmall.com/item/525204607585.htm?id=525204607585&ali_refid=a3_430618_1006:1109533661:N:surface%20pro%20套:39d1be6286d91baadf8ea9d816bb0480&ali_trackid=1_39d1be6286d91baadf8ea9d816bb0480&spm=a312a.7700714.0.0.pOH1Km
Did you order it?
April 12, 2016 at 1:53 pm #33169Just a stab in the dark but do any of you reckon it would be possible to fit charge the hi12 via the dock connector? If so we might be able to mod the keyboard to include a battery (albeit small capacity)
