Hey everyone. Is there a link anywhere yet to dual boot files with an english version of Windows? It originally came shipped to me in english, but after a corrupted Windows 10, I had to flash everything with the files in the download section. Like others seem to be experiencing, changing the language to english only changes some windows components to english. Most is still in chinese.

I received my iWork 1x a few days ago, and have experienced nothing but problems., both software and hardware. Just wondering if others are experiencing the same problems as me, or if I just have a defective product (I had to flash the firmware, so not sure if I’ve already voided the warranty).

The main problems I have are:

    • when restarting/shutting down the tablet, sometimes (50% or so) I hear a click click click kind of sound that lasts for about 5 seconds.
    • Another problem is the screen flickering when it’s booting up. The chinese text/graphic breaks up and the screen flickers. Nowhere else does this happen in Android or Windows, yet.
    • When I try to shut down the tablet in Android, it doesn’t always shut down. Sometimes it just reboots on it’s own. It happens sometimes when on battery power or plugged in. And sometimes when it does reboot, it doesn’t fully reboot back into Android. It just goes to a black screen, but it’s still on. Sometimes it goes to the battery charging icon, then black screen. This could be an incorrect flash or something, and not hardware related.
    • Sometimes the tablet just automatically boots up when I plug in to charge. This could be related to the problem above.

I’ve troubleshooted many desktops/laptops in my years, but this tablet is probably the most frustrating device I’ve ever worked with. Mainly because of the inconsistency of the problems. Having Windows 10 get corrupted and completely unrecoverable on me probably was probably a big warning sign…

EDIT: Oh yeah, and the camera doesn’t work in Android or Windows. May be a software thing. Shuts down in Android all the time. Windows looks like it recognizes it, but all programs say there isn’t one available.
