I had the free time to do a deeper research for this problem and was not surprised to find out that I’m not the only one with this kind of problem. Other tablets with win10 and some laptops too are affected sometimes by this. What is better, I can at least stop worrying about defective battery now.
Apparently this is an Intel Problem (surprising eh?) and there is an easy fix. I am testing now , I will share the results after a few days when I’m sure it’s fixed.
What is did was this:
navigate to device manager >Â system devices > Intel (R) management engine interface > right click >Â properties > Power Management tab > uncheck “allow the computer to turn off this device to save power”
EDIT: This actually solved it and stopped battery drain whatsoever, i guess it’s an improvement to battery life too. I recommend.
