I didn’t do a clean install, just did the upgrade cause I was worried about being able to activate.   The upgrade process kept the right drivers and the switch to android app, so I didn’t have any extra work to do after the fact and the touchscreen worked fine.   I think I will just stay with what I got now.  I don’t know that a clean install would change anything much, since I didn’t have much on the tablet in the first place.  I guess I must have had just enough on the hard drive to run out of room.  I tried just using the sd card first and it didn’t work for me.  Windows can be such a strange beast.  You would think that they would have figured out how to make it a painless process by now, but every upgrade since windows 95 has seemed to have some issue or another.  I really do like windows 10 on the Hi8 though,  it’s a good upgrade over windows 8.

I know of at least one device that has android 5.0 and Intel graphics, and I think I have seen ads for upcoming tablets.  The one I know of for sure is the Nextbook Ares 8 sold at Walmart.  I would hope Chuwi would skip ahead to whatever the latest version of lollipop is, but who knows with android.  Anyway,  I can’t read most of Chuwi’s website because it doesn’t translate well, but my understanding is that Chuwi themselves are the ones who announced the upgrade to lollipop.  Can anyone verify this?  And if so is it going to be something that has to be downloaded from their website?
