Thanks for the info. I’m struggling to find a decent shipping rate atm (from New Zealand). The cheapest I can find is around $100 because I kept getting stung for the lithium ion battery so they won’t ship standard, only express which is kinda against what GearBest wanted haha. I’m now considering option 3.. :S

If its the type-c version of the tablet like I have, then it will only charge using the usb type-c cable supplied in the box. I would try stick with the Anker 5V/2A charger. I’ve been successfully charging the working tablet with a iPad 5.1V/2.1A charger via the usb type-c port

I purchased 2 of the iwork 10 flagship ultrabook type-c version from gearbest which came in the mail yesterday. 1 works fine and the other is DOA and has never turned on. Initially started charging but still wouldnt turn on and now it only wants to charge sometimes when plugged in. Quite bummed but I guess this is the risk when buying chinese tablets
I am in the same boat as you where I was given the 3 options from gearbest so I am going to return it but am still waiting on further instructions.
Have you had any luck with it yet?
