If I can get up the gumption to spend $500 on it, I’ll let you know what I experience. It’s $499 at office depot (in store) and walmart online if you live in the usa.
From the specs…
The display is 1.6 vs 1.54 for the chuwi hi12. The ssd and ram are upgradable, but you have to do it yourself. While it comes only with win10, remix os 2 (and possibly 3 soon) should install and give a dual boot.
Cheers

May 23, 2016 at 7:04 pm #38391Any ideas how to allocate more space to Android partition?
The only way I’ve seen is what Mirek190 did with the x98 air – make a custom rom and include a partition table. I assume that would work with chuwi. Now all you have to do is find a really bright person like mirek190 to make one for the H12. 🙂
May 23, 2016 at 1:11 pm #38351Android partition is 10Gb Windows partition 45Gb rest is boot, recovery & stuff
Are you serious about android only getting 10gb?
May 21, 2016 at 1:37 am #38073Assuming you have us electrical outlets, you can order a euro to us plug adaptor from wally world, amazon or ebay. Your local electronics store might have one depending on where you’re at. E.g. I’m in piedmont NC and no store would carry those in stock. ;
May 19, 2016 at 7:18 pm #37959I made a request to banggood and they reduced the price and cancelled the coupon. now it is evene cheaper than before… 225 new price vs 229 old price
Thank you alessandro. You’ve made my decision rather difficult — to buy the Hi12 now or wait for the Remix edition or see what the Teclast Tbook12 layout has to offer. 🙂
April 23, 2016 at 11:52 am #34778Has anyone tried fbrl to root the chuwi hi12? i use it on a tab with an older intel atom (z3745). If it works you can use it to install supersu and xPosed via a temp twrp.
