SVW TEch: Yes, I try, I am good at electronics, and have very good soldering skills, so I was confident enough to open the tablet and try, (very easy, 4 Torx screws and pry out the back cover), But as Diego says, the tablet wires are soldered to the main board, not a plug like the tablet in the video, So I desolder the two wires, and reconnect and nothing.
Also I try with a new battery (4000 mAh) Fully charged, and nothing. it doesn’t helped at all, also try to charge the internal battery, (With a proper LiPo battery charger) and then solder it again, but no luck.. it is completely DEAD. 🙁
Also connect the tablet without the battery don’t not work either.
