    Hi together,

unfortunately I broke my BIOS, the Notebook does not start anymore.

I tried to flash the BIOS with a CH552G programmer, I used a comparable chip, the GD25LQ64, because unfortunately the GD25LB64C is not listed.

But I can’t upload data and the read out data is unfortunately very incomplete, see screenshot.

I have additionally measured everything with the multimeter from the programmer to the motherboard from the notebook, all connections are ok and there are no short circuits between the pins.

I hope someone can help, maybe even Giovanni (@thegiolly).

Thank you very much for your support.

    Ok here are my expirience.

I buy the SSD (Crucial MX300 275GB SATA M.2 (2280)), she was immediately recognized without any problems.
Next i boot from an USB Stick with Windows 10 (1709) i prepared it with the “Windows Media Creation Tool”.
In the Windows Setup i delete all partitions from the internal eMMC and SSD. Then i create a new partition on the SSD and install Windows on it.

What can I say, it works perfectly…because of the many negative experiences here in the forum I was afraid if it works.

    Enclosed a screenshot from diskmark.

Ok, thanks for the information. I would like to install a ssd and completely disable the internal emmc and reinstall windows from a usb stick. I have the fear that this can come with this castrated bios to problems. Has anyone experiences?

I would buy the following ssd
    Crucial MX300 275GB SATA M.2 (2280)

    Thanks alot
