    Hi, do you know if this will work in other dual boot tablet like Chuwi? I currently have a Chuwi Hi8 Air and having similar issue with the android 5.1 not reading exfat or NTFS… only works in Fat32

    Hi Xb, thanks for your post.  I am following your steps and is having some success but this one step is unclear to me:

     

    1. Using Rufus to format a sd card or thumb drive (at least 8gb) as a boot able drive (in setting, not as MBR. It’s GPT or something). Important: the drive must be named as WINPE

     

    When I use Rufus, I can not create a bootable drive without linking to an ISO file.  If I choose other options like DD Image, it is not bootable.  Can you clarify?  Does it have to be bootable drive? I seem to have seen other guide to just copy the files into a FAT32 formatted USB drive.  Thanks

    Thanks.  I also found this thread and google translate to try it out.  It worked, except the last part where SU continue to requested to be update but it always failed.  However, it appears to be rooted as I can use Titanium Backup. Have you tried and were you able to complete the last step? Thanks
