Jono’s driver doesn’t work, but restoring my drivers twice after deleting them each time works…Wtf?
June 2, 2016 at 8:10 am #39574Wow, this is weird. I deleted all the sensor drivers. Then I used the driver backup I had from Windows 8 and restored all of the sensor drivers. Somehow restoring the first time it didn’t work. But after deleting the sensor drivers a second time and restoring it worked. I have no idea how it fixed itself…
June 1, 2016 at 12:10 pm #39476I know exactly which driver controls the rotation. It’s the BMA2x2(…) Accelerometer. But for some reason it doesn’t seem to fix the problem even though apparently it’s ‘working fine’.
June 1, 2016 at 7:08 am #39445Still doesn’t work. Probably the drivers aren’t supported on Windows 10. I definitely know the Vi10 can rotate the screen, because it does it on Android.
June 1, 2016 at 5:23 am #39434I’ll give it a shot. I definitely know it can rotate the screen.
May 31, 2016 at 11:50 pm #39411There were no errors. I looked through the Windows 10 drivers on this website, but I couldn’t find the driver files for the third sensor.
May 31, 2016 at 11:49 pm #39410I first installed Windows 8, and all it’s drivers. I didn’t check if the screen rotation works. I then used Double Driver to backup all the drivers. Then I upgraded to Windows 10, and restored all the drivers. I then realised that the screen rotation doesn’t work. I think I’m missing a driver or two for the sensor. I have the BMA2x2 and Capella Micro sensor. I’m very sure that there was a third one.
May 29, 2016 at 8:07 am #38976Tuxboot did the trick. My tablet is back to normals. Thanks Jono!
May 29, 2016 at 12:33 am #38958I did. That gave me an error. Odd.
May 29, 2016 at 12:24 am #38956I think it might be a bad installer. I’ll try to download another windows oem iso.
May 29, 2016 at 12:18 am #38955Yes I am. I’ll give that a shot Jono.
May 28, 2016 at 11:52 pm #38953@Jonathan True. That’s good to know. Now I have another problem with installing windows. I create a bootable USB with RUFUS setting it to FAT32 and GPT partition.
When I boot from USB in the boot manager, I get a windows error PC/USB need to be repaired?
May 28, 2016 at 11:07 pm #38949I am lucky. I was so desperate that I didn’t care what version the fix was for.
May 28, 2016 at 1:04 pm #38913If I met Jono in real life I would by him a meal(sprinkled with gold)…
May 28, 2016 at 1:01 pm #38912FIXED. For anyone who has the same problem go to this post: http://techtablets.com/forum/topic/reset-bios-chuwi-vi10pro-no-keyboard/#post-38911
The fix is posted by Jonathan.
