    Hey Carlos,

    Thanks so much for the information. I have been searched long time for a solution for the keyboard drain problem on my chuwi hi12. This seems to be the closest one. I can confirm when you attach the charging cable or otg device, the screen doesn’t turn on every 30 second. however, i think what really happens here is when the otg is attached, the tablet is always awake and the keyboard is always active. You can tell this by looking at the LED on the keyboard. So the tablet never tries to go to sleep which is when the keyboard lid up the screen. I measured the battery drain with OTG attached at 3% per hour compared to 5% per hour when the screen blinks every 30 seconds. Unfortunately it’s still too high to be acceptable and I think chuwi should really step in and fix this problem.

    Cool. I’m looking forward for your review on mi 5s plus. With pixel XL priced at $750+, I’m definitely going with one of these budget SD 821 phones.

    Would you please comment on how the dual lens on mi 5s plus work? Maybe a comparison with redmi pro dual lens setup. Will it be able to do background blurring in video mode?(redmi pro seems the only phone in the market which is capable of video background blurring. Even the mighty iPhone 7 plus can only blur the background in photos but not video.)

    How? It didn’t seem to work when I left it blank and I can’t find the relevent command

    ^WheelDown::return

    On my chuwi hi12, ^WheelDown::return only disable the control+scoll. It doesn’t disable pinch zoom. Any suggestion? Thanks

    It didn’t work in android. The android will only recognize the internal wifi chip. maybe you can try to disable the internal wifi through the method in one the above link, but i haven’t tried. It does work in windows out of box. but in windows you have a lot more better options. so this usb adapter is pretty much useless. oh, yes, i double checked usd adapter. It is RTL8723, the same as the built in one.

    It will be fine. The only thing matters is the voltage. As long as it’s 5V it won’t damage your pad.

    It looks pretty good. Thanks for sharing. Is there anyway to use the tablet in portrait mode?

    I ordered one of these universal kickstand from amazon. The good thing is it allows both portrait and landscape mode. and it simply folds back when not in use.

    The official keyboard is pretty heavy for what it is right now. They have to put some counter weight to stable the tablet. Too bad they didn’t simply add some li-ion batteries as counter weight which wouldn’t add too much additional cost.

    Thank you so much for all your replies. I think I’ll pass the original keyboard. I’ll probably get one of those logitech keyboard. The one with touchpad seems very interesting.
