Is it possible that my Hi12 already came with screen protector installed?

It seems that my screen is covered by something…

But would it fit even with the original metallic keyboard?

Has anybody of you reported this problem to the manufacturer od supplier? Have they responded somehow?

I think it is a problem seriously damaging the usability of tablet – as it has only 64GB of storage onboard (for two systems).

I did never own the old/plastic keyboard.

I’ve ordered Hi12 two months ago, it arrived one month ago and the keyboard was the new metalic. I didn’t even know that I was ordering it, I just checked “keyboard”. I think they just replaced the old one with the new one and the plastic one was discontinued.

What I’m also lacking is the keyboard lock – Asus Transformer’s keyboard wasn’t just attached by magnets, but there was a physical lock – much more safe.

BTW: I’m looking for a bag/case/sleeve for Hi12, but it must fit even with the keyboard. Some tips?

Well… does every Hi12 user have this problem with microSD in Win10? I assume not.

If not, how’s that possible? Have we done something wrong in Windows?

How’s that possible that the card worked once, then not, then worked again and then died finally? What has changed? Why?

How common is that problem? Does Chuwi know about it? Has anyone solved this problem?

I have to say that I definitely haven’t done anything dangerous. No playing with drivers, registry, … justi installed dropbox, paint.net, MS SQL Management Studio and Libre Office.

How could it be a problem with the SD card (or the card slot)? I can access the card when I reboot to Android!

So my guess is that it must be a problem of Windows!

A can also read both cards in other devices with no problem.

Well I’ve got both – the original Chuwi aluminium keyboard (for travel purposes) and cheap 2.4GHz fullkeyboard+mouse set for home use (Chuwi is then connected to my old fullhd 24” monitor located besides my 27” 2.5k monitor of my desktop PC). So at home I can use it with the same comfort as the desktop PC…

According the aluminium keyboard I’m missing few things which could be there: second battery and full SD slot. Am I expecting too much? I don’t thing so – my very old Asus Transformer (10” tegra/android tablet) has this type of keyboard – with secondary battery which can significantly extend the tablet life and full SD slot. They had to make the keyboard heavy anyway (to make it stable), so why not put $10 worth “powerbank” there???

It looks like it is a SW problem in Win10, because the card is visible in Android!

But why it was visible in Win, then disappeared, then appeared and then disappeared for good?

And I repeat: it is not the kind of problem when it just losses its drive letter – the SD card isn’t even visible in Disk Manager. And in Device Manager there are no exclamation marks or “driver problems” visible.

    Any idea? Thanks!

Looks like 128GB works unless you have dualboot and you want to access the card in both systems….

Is there a way to make the card work both in Win10 and Android?

I want to buy as big&fast card as possible.

Is there a way to split the card into two partitions (bigger for win, smaller for android)?

I do not plan to remove the card from the tablet, I don’t plan to use it for data transfer. It will be permanently in the tablet.

So please, could anybody write or share a link to step-by-step partitioning and formatting guide?

I dont’t want to have a flashdrive permanently in tablet!

    It’s a mobile device, not a desktop!

    So what’s the solution?

I plan to buy as big and as fast card the tablet can manage and utilize!

Something like Kingston Micro SDXC 128GB UHS-I U3

Or is any better/faster/bigger (and supported by the tablet) card recommended?

And yes, I woluld like to dedicate most of it (cca 100GB) to Windows and some of it to Android (the rest).

So is there a way how to manage it? How?

    Thanx!

PS: Does it have any meaning to use a part of the card for ReadyBoost, Swapfile, etc?
