You can buy one at Aliexpress:

I haven’t used that one because the original one works for me, but it has good reviews and people say 2 weeks delivery to the UK ๐Ÿ˜‰

I tried what you suggested, but it didn’t change theย Alt-Left nor Alt-Right. Anyways, you have to do it quite slow to trigger the undesired gesture, so it shouldn’t be a problem.

I was just curious about why the same gesture triggers 2 different functions…

I basically disabled most of the gestures. I don’t like the edge gestures with one finger because I sometimes trigger them by accident.ย I also disabled the 2-finger gesture right and left because I was triggering them when trying to scroll down and up. I changed the 3-finger gestures, right to mute/unmute volume and left to open calculator app.

Of course you can add the auto-startup instructions to any of your posts or script! Free to share ๐Ÿ˜‰

I have one question about the script… do you know why the 3-finger gestures also trigger “by default” the back and forward at the browser? If I do the gesture quickly it will do the desired function, but if I do it slow it will be like hitting the back or forward buttons of the browser several times, even if I try to disable all gestures in the script…

I just wanted to update the post by saying that changing the BIOS version might change the type and intensity of the noise, so it is worth a try if it really bothers you ๐Ÿ˜‰

This is extremely helpful and efective for disablying the annoying touchpad gestures or adding the ones you prefer.ย I just wanted to say thank you!

The script is really well explained too, so I was able to modify your code without problems ๐Ÿ™‚

One possible upgrade: setting the script to run everytime you boot your tablet. What do you need to do?

    1. Copy the script file to a location you won’t change
    2. Create a shorcut
    3. Move the shorcut to the folder C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp
    4. Done! Now the script will run every time you boot windows and you will have the gestures disabled!

I tried with something similar to that charger and it actually charges the tablet, but there are 2 drawbacks:

    • The charging speed is quite slow, so if you are using the tablet, the battery consumes faster than what you charge
    • When you charge by USB-C a buzzing sound appears, which is quite annoying

    Hope that helps you ๐Ÿ™‚

    Hello,

I have a 128Gb Samsung micro sd card and it works without problems.

Please make sure that you plug your micro sd card when the tablet is off and if that doesn’t help try changing to another version of the BIOS (the version that comes with the tablets shipped these days should be good, I didn’t need to change my BIOS version).

Another thing that I read in the past is formatting the card to ExFAT and then plug it into the tablet and see if it can be read then.

    Hope your problem gets solved!

No, there is not Spanish version at all. Only international with US keyboard, but you can configure in windows as a Spanish keyboard and if you need you can buy Spanish keyboard stickers (see attached picture in previous post)

    Hello,

You can always buy the original keyboard and just apply some Spanish keyboard stickers. In the end it could look like this:

    You have it here:

The download link is this one:

Please keep in mind that it is a modified BIOS that has many more changes than just changing the boot logo.

Sorry I mean Teclast X98 Plus 3G. It’s dual boot, but you can use it only with Android (5.1) if you want.

It meets all your specs, but I don’t know if it is a good tablet or not.

You can buy it at Aliexpress from some sellers that still have it:

The only one I can think of is Teclast X98 Air 3G, but it is a bit old…

The are some cheap tablets with all you said except from the screen.

If 3G is the problem, you can always buy a USB to put your sim card and then plug it to the tablet.

    Hope that helps a little!
