I prepared the USB stick using microsoft’s tool at https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 and restoring the drivers file found on this site using Doubledrive. I didn’t have any trouble using the usb 3.0 jack, but had to repeatedly hit a key (don’t know if it was esc, F2, F8, or Del) during initial boot until it asked if I want to boot from alternate media. Good Luck.

Okay, so I borked my tablet by doing the “restore”. The tablet ended up rebooting in an endless loop. So, I tried reinstalling Win10 using a USB image, and it sort of worked, but the drivers are all missing. Thus, the tablet is pretty useless right now. Does anybody have a link to a driver dump? It’s ridiculous that Jumper doesn’t support their tablets with downloadable drivers. I understand this seems to be par for the course for these cheap Chinese tablets, but that doesn’t make it any better.

Thanks so much for your help!

+1 on the crackling noise. I’ll look forward to a solution to this, as one of the main reasons I wanted this tablet is to watch movies remotely from my media server at night.

Hi, Thanks for the replies. I did something really stupid: I tried reinstalling the drivers for the SD card reader, but that didn’t solve the problems. So, I decided maybe my best bet would be to restore the computer to it’s original state with a System Restore. In Windows 10, there’s a restore function that wipes all my changes out, but keeps my files. I chose that function, and the tablet proceeded to reset itself. Now it’s stuck in a reboot loop at “Installing Windows” 65% progress… I’m not sure how to get out of this one, but I may need to try reinstalling from a fresh Windows 10 image on a USB stick.

    Cheers,

    -Terry
