In Windows I have had the sleep of death hit once or twice. But that’s the only issue I’ve had. No power related issues after the first initial charge.
You aren’t going to be able to upgrade Android. The upgrade would either need to come from Chuwi, or be created by a community created ROM for the Hi8 Pro, and from what I’m seeing there is little effort being put into that.
