Does it give a message?
October 2, 2015 at 1:47 pm #12406It’s an orange icon. Should be directly on your home screen
October 2, 2015 at 12:55 pm #12402Allright started flashing! There’s progress. Besides setting the DNX in the BIOS I also changed OS ID from Windows to Android. After that I saved and exit, quickly connected it to my pc and it finally recognized the X98. Now fingers crossed for the flashing process. Thanks for your help Robert! And for all wondering which key enters the BIOS: the ‘del’ key 😉
October 2, 2015 at 12:19 pm #12395Robert, do you by any chance know how to reflash the BIOS 1.05? Using the provided tool it just tells me I have the latest version. Is it possible to flash the included BIOS file? Ow and which key to enter the bios?
October 2, 2015 at 12:01 pm #12390Did you remove the chinese characters from the directory names? Also are you running them as ‘Administrator’?
October 2, 2015 at 11:47 am #12387Thanks for the tip! I noticed that when installing the prerequisits the flashtool has updated versions of both the AndroidUSB Drivers as well as the iSoC drivers. So does installing the separate iSoC and Android USB even make sense?
October 2, 2015 at 10:30 am #12381Yup, I think I f-ed up my X98 Pro. Almost impossible to power it on. And when on and in DNX mode the PC doesn’t recognize it (installed all reqs). Anybody have any idea what I can do?When I connect it to the charger it shows the Teclast logo and after that the charging symbol for 2 seconds. After that screen goes blackOk, finally I got it to boot back into Windows 10. I think it might be a good idea to reflash the bios. Is there a way to do this?
October 2, 2015 at 7:45 am #12376I managed to flash the bios. However, I am now having major problems trying to power on the tablet. It just won’t power on. Sometimes it does, but most of the time it just stays off/shows a black screen.
EDIT: finally got it into DNX mode. Not sure what’s going on though with powering it :S
October 1, 2015 at 6:02 pm #12331How can you enter the dual boot menu? Only got it once after that it just boots straighr into windowa?
October 1, 2015 at 5:25 pm #12326Which Android image did you end up using Robert?
October 1, 2015 at 3:33 pm #12314Thanks Robert. Flashing tomorrow
October 1, 2015 at 3:08 pm #12310Nice one Robert, I am very curious to see if this approach works
October 1, 2015 at 12:11 pm #12305It appears that a new bios came out for the K6C3 model yesterday. I found this post on the Teclast forums which covers upgrading the bios from 1.00 to 1.05. After that you should be able to flash Android. Sadly, I didn’t bring my tablet with me today so I can’t try. Also not home tonight so my earliest try will be tomorrow.
September 30, 2015 at 9:22 am #12194What I can make up from the Teclast forums is that the RAM and Camera have changed between the two models. I really hope there will be a way to flash Android for the K6C3 model. Would just hate to get stuck with just Windows 10
