it is impossible.
Windows 10 (x64) does not recognize the Chuwi Hi8 pro.
I removed the firewall and antivirus and still does not recognize it.
I installed 3 versions of Phone Flash Tool Intel and USB drivers and you have not connected the PC with the tablet.
Anyone know any solution to this problem ?.
even with virtlabox I installed a Windows 7 x32bits and neither recognizes the Chuwi.
???????

he quitado el cortafuegos y el antivirus y sigue sin reconocerla.

he instalado 3 versiones de Phone Flash Tool de Intel y los drivers usb y no ha cobectado el pc con el tablet.
Alguien sabe alguna solucion para este problema?.

I flashed android on windows 10 64 bit with no problems so I think should be compatible

Flashing program requires 32 bit windows 7 if i’m not mistaken.

Note:”Intel Platform Flash Tool Lite” program for your operating system if you are going to use Windows under the “32-bit” should be.This program “64-bit” does not support.

 

Assumptions:
You downloaded and installed Intel Platform Flash Tool 5.5.2.0 and all USB drivers are installed (google this, downloadable from Intel site)
You downloaded and extracted the latest Android version on your PC into a folder (Main page of this forum)

Update:
0) The tablet is NOT connected to PC
1) Boot to Android, and turn on OEM unlocking in developer settings
2) Turn off the tablet (not hard reset, normal switch off from menu)
3) Turn on the tablet, choose Android with Volume+, then immediately hold down Volume-. Not just push, hold until it boots. This way it will enter fastboot mode.
4) With volume buttons choose “restart bootloader”, then push on/off button to restart the tablet
5) Wait for it to restart
6) On PC the Intel flastool is running, you already chose one of the json files from the extracted Android files. Flash, or no erase; I did the “flash” version.
7) Plug in the tablet to the PC, Intel tool will recognize it. Hit start to flash, and let the magic happen.
