Hi8 Pro Dual boot: Android won't wake up from sleep

I’ve also been experimenting with creating flows in “automate” from play store that disable wifi before the device ends up in deep sleep. I’d like to share them. Maybe somebody learns from it , maybe somebody has superior ideas.

Btw @piotr : you have my attention…maybe we can help you test?

There is latest Official Android Firmware on Chuwi Forum, It can solve deep sleep problem on Android.

Not sure if I’ll try, the reason I had to buy the Hi8 pro is that I hardbricked my former tablet. Can’t even get into recovery or fastboot. And I don’t wanna lose my Chuwi now 😉

ive downloaded intel phone flash tool and load the file and select update, the log says file is loaded but clicking start doesnt do anything. what am i doing wrong?

Are drivers correctly installed?

To update firmware the tablet must be switched on on Android and connected to the computer. If the tablet is properly connected you’ll see tablet information on Intel Phone Flash Tool program and the “connected” status

Help please.  I have download just the firmware update. Extracted it my my desktop PC and connected the Chuwi to the PC.  Can someone please tell me what to do next.  There is some talk about a flash tool when can I find that?

I have 2 bugs:

• camera app doesn’t start
• 3x no wake up while charging. Had to force a reboot.

My camera is working…

You can use newer version of flash tool from the intel site. I was using last version.
