I used Intel’s latest. Without using hardware acceleration I haven’t had any black screens on Windows

please let us know if anyone actually fixes this problem, clean Windows didn’t do it for me

On windows it seems to charge to 100%, but I’m testing different scenarios to make sure, on Android I’ve only been able to get it to 95%

From what I can tell what triggers this temp driver failure is hardware acceleration, I haven’t experienced it except with apps/programs that use hardware acceleration.

Thanks Brainvision, I tried google, can’t seem to find anything specific to iwork 10? can you point me in the right direction with a link or 2? happy to troubleshoot this myself, if I know where to begin. Battery seems to be functional and healthy, not sure why it won’t go past 95%.

Thank you, I got the driver updated, I’ll test some different things and let you guys know what I figure out about black screens. I haven’t gotten any since I updated the driver from safe mode.

looks like hardware acceleration does cause the error, on Chrome and Kodi (both of which use it), I had the graphics black screen pop up failure, without acceleration it seems okay. Time will tell.  Still need assistance updating my Intel driver though.

Did anyone ever find a fix to this issue? I’m having it at well on and off. Also my intel display driver won’t update using that intel driver update tool. The little dots creep across the screen like the driver update is working but it always goes right back to no dots (and creeps back up again) over and over in a cycle.
