I use this soft: http://clickmonitorddc.bplaced.net/ It allows to create shortcuts like ALT+F5 to change the brightness. It also work with external monitors.

    Thank you very much !

I have been looking for such piece of software for a while without finding it.

    You made my day 😀

For travelling, I’m using this charger : https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B01C847NUK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It is very convenient and provides numerous USB charging ports. The USB-C port is charging the Thinker faster than the original provided charger.

Hey Chris, are you sure? Today I tried the new Microsoft Surface Book Pen on my Cube Thinker and it worked correctly, so I assume Chuwi HiPen H3 will also work on both – Cube Thinker as well as Microsoft Surface Book. Am I right or not?

I can unfortunately confirm that the HiPen H3 is not working on my Thinker.

    Hi Paolo,

The weights are hold only by some kind of double sided duct tape. I used a flat screw driver to remove them.

The duct tape is strong but it shouldn’t resist you 😉

    Hi,

I have done some testing today.

So both the wall charger and the powerbank can charge the I35 while in use. However under heavy load, the powerbank can only prevent the interval battery from getting lower. Under heavy load the wall charger does its job by charging the battery.

Unfortunately, if you plug the wall charger to the I35 while it is on, it won’t charge it. You need to switch off the I35 and switch on again for the charger to work like expected. Going to hibernation also doesn’t work.

I suspect the charger to output 5V only and to need an order to deliver higher voltage, order that is delivered only when the I35 is switched on.

I have found a trick. If you start charging the powerbank with the wall charger and then unplug the powerbank and plug the USB-C cable to the I35, it will charge.

    Hi Nader,

Yes I was talking about the wall charger that comes with the powerbank.

It seems very effective, because it just charged my I35 from 5% to 99% in two hours.

I can’t answer you about the voltage used. On the wall charger it is written the following values for the output: 5V/3A, 9V/2A, 15V/2A, 20V/1.5A

Also I have done a test with the powerbank itself, and after charging the I35 completely I still have 2 leds over 4. So the powerbank could charge the I35 twice (this still needs to be checked).

I will test the charging while in use tomorrow (time to go to bed for me :D)

    Hi again,

I have just received this power bank : https://www.amazon.fr/dp/B01LLFUMFU/ref=pe_3044141_189395771_TE_dp_1

Both the power bank and the wall charger are able to charge de Cube I35 using their USB-C port, but you need to purchase a USB-C to USB-C cable separately  because it is not provided by RAVPower (!).

I didn’t have the time to do some charging tests, but in the comments, people says the power is 30W for the wall charger.

Edit: it took 2H to charge the laptop (in sleeping mode) from 20% to 100%

To be fair, if the screen is pushed back over 45° (from an imaginary vertical line) the keyboard starts to lift a little by itself.

In that case touching the screen increases the phenomena, and the keyboard is lifted every time you push the screen. But the laptop never falls back, it becomes just unstable.

If the screen remains in the 0° – 45° range, I don’t see any differences with or without the weights, but I must admit that I’m not a big fan of touch screens on laptops and I’m not using the Cube’s one 😉
