If the tablets performance and features are superior to the rest of the market at this price range, I’d just buy buy a 3 quid stand and a bluetooth keyboard…cheap as chips.

May 10, 2016 at 6:04 pm #36678For me it’s all about the quality of the stylus support, so far all I’ve seen is people making a few squiggles, I’d like to see how it performs with Photoshop and Zbrush, something a little more in-depth than we’ve seen to date, I’d also like to see how this runs 3ds Max or Maya, etc etc.
If stylus support is just a gimmick or very basic, I have no reason to get one of these.
May 9, 2016 at 9:59 pm #36579He’s got it, check his YouTube channel.
May 9, 2016 at 4:44 pm #36552Not related to tablets, but thought I’d update here about XiaomiDevice.com , phone was shipped 4pm Sat. arrived UK 12pm Monday, seller uses the huge bubble bags & foam, you could play football with it. 🙂
Phone is perfect.Site seems legit and the seller cares about what he’s posting.
May 8, 2016 at 9:06 am #36416Yup, all confusion could be cleared up if these sites employed people with more tech knowledge.
Strange about the X3 Pro, it now says “Ships between May 12 – May 23” and they tell you June ? …obviously still don’t have any in stock and taking peoples money, a 15 day shipping window is a bit vague.
May 7, 2016 at 4:37 pm #36366Hard to tell, I wish these sites would employ English people with the ability to supply technical info to manage queries, the one liner answers you get from the sites are useless.
How hard is it for them to say how many levels it supports, and even if they do you have a 50/50 chance they have a clue what they are saying, China seem to work on the premise of tell the customer what they want hear rather than facts, I guess it generates more income for them.
So the X2 works with the X3…at what level of functionality? X3 may support 1024 levels and only use 512 with the X2 pen.
Someone has to buy one and tell the rest of us how they got on…maybe do a YouTube video covering X2 / X3 styluses 😉
I spent all my pennies on a dual xeon build, so not ordering the X3 for a few weeks.
May 6, 2016 at 1:07 pm #36267Slightly nervous now re: my Redmi Note 3 Pro, I just ran a whois on the domain XiaomiDevice.com, details are hidden using PrivacyGuardian, the email account is Gmail, and in my Paypal receipt the only seller info is 刘 平, which translates to Liu Ping, if things go pear shaped I might be up the proverbial shit creek :/
Still not shipped.
May 5, 2016 at 12:22 pm #36169Yeah thanks Chris, I hate online shopping at the best of times, add China to the equation and it’s a confusing mess.
I’m going to hang fire on the X3 Pro and see what happens over the next 3 or 4 weeks.
I just ordered my Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro direct from XiaomiDevice.com, DHL, 3-5 days, no despatch as yet, but I only ordered it a few hours ago.
Afaik, Gearbest don’t use DHL, but in my experience their post is pretty quick.
Re: Teclast, I went to both Teclast sites to try and order direct and neither have the X3 or X2 listed obviously they don’t distribute directly, but strange the X3 and 2 aren’t in their product listings.
May 5, 2016 at 9:37 am #36140Hmm, more pressure levels ? 1024, 2048…who knows.
May 3, 2016 at 1:29 pm #35921I’ve just contacted GearBest, they say the X2 pen is not compatible with the X3 and they don’t have any that are.
May 2, 2016 at 10:03 pm #35855I’m set on the Teclast X3 Pro now, 8gb Ram, 128 ssd.
May 2, 2016 at 8:33 pm #35846I thought the stylus pen dictated the pressure levels on the X3, I can’t find any X3 specific pen, just this one for the X2.

I wish these sites would link to compatible stylus and keyboards on the tablet page instead of screaming at me they are not included !!!
May 2, 2016 at 8:04 pm #35839Also waiting on the X3 Pro review, 8gb ram is the sealer for me as I work in 3D and need the extra ram.
I’m sure the GPU has been upgraded too,
Specs says the X2 has Intel HD Graphics 5300 and the X3 has Gen9LP HD515 GPU.
May 2, 2016 at 4:43 pm #35826Yeah the more I read the worse it gets, glad I didn’t order one, now swinging towards the Teclast.
May 2, 2016 at 2:21 pm #35814That looks nasty, the impression I’m getting is once Chuwi have established a good rep for the Hi12, they change the manufacture process resulting in higher profit & lower quality.
