That Fusion5 doesn’t look like it has IPS screen.

It doesn’t have an IPS screen but I guess I’d settle with that since you get from the US and not China and you don’t have to deal with Gearbest.

Actually is just saw that the laptop I said doesn’t have ac wifi so I’m not going to get it.. I really don’t what to buy at this point. I don’t wanna risk with a Chinese laptop again but I’m not finding anything good in Greece.. Nor anything good on certfied refurbished laptops on Amazon.. Do you have anything to suggest me Chupa that is not from China, has at least 4 gb of ram, ac wifi, maybe an ssd or at least an ssd slot

Yeah the problem is that I don’t want to buy a laptop from China. I’ll one from Greece. It’s imported from China I think kinda like the Thomson laptop you’ve mentioned in another post, but at least I don’t have to deal with Gearbest again. Besides the x4 is 100 euros more expensive and my budget is quite strict.
Look at the specs in the images:

Chupa I asked GearBest to cancel the order(hoping just in case that they would) and of course the refused and told me this:

“Please kindly note that in case you refuse to receive the parcel, the package may get destroyed by the shipping company and not returned to us. In this case there will be no compensation.”

I assume they’re bluffing? Also even in the case this happens, aren’t I covered by their “shipping insurance”?

then you are good, just let it bounce back
or if in doubt ask them before but sending back is often an expensive and long process.
The auto return to sender is always the fastest and safest way and the insurance should even vover that since the delivery could not be archived.
just relax when it comes back to china they normally ask if you want resend or refund it happens everyday.
had one a few weeks ago, stupid delivery company, so it went back.

you need to wait up the delivery deadline 30 to 50 days depends and the just file your claim.
do some research how your company handles claims.

I had over 350 orders at ali 25% needed intervention I won I got my money back or reduced as i wanted in all but 2 cases were it was below 10$ and I got screwed. Can live with these odds
GB is a little different you have to argue a bit more in a professional way and most you can work something out that will work for you and them

So you think it’s possible to get a full refund from GearBest since I paid with a debit card? Thanks for replying again

just do not open the door, he will leave a note, ignore the note, It gets send back.

ask seller your notebook did not arrive if they can credit you back or …

Isn’t it risky to do it when I haven’t paid with PayPal? What if they don’t refund me or try to give me credit in their store? I can’t anything then without PayPal.. Or can I? At least I’ve paid for the delivery insurance.

the way the problems with that product are I would go that way or even better refuse to accept delivery and talk to the seller to just credit it towards something better.

it is cheaper to refuse then to resend, also faster.

Sorry for asking, but I know nothing of these things. So, when the package comes I just say to the delivery man that I do not accept the delivery and to send it back? And then file a ticket on GearBest and say what? Isn’t safer to first file a ticket and then send it back? Also which laptop do you recommend me to buy at around this money?

then hope for the best, prepare for the worst, check everything at the arrival do some extensive test and talk to the seller when problems arise.

Chupa I saw that I can return the product without even opening it and get the refund. I saw that I’ll pay for shipping but it’s worth it I guess. If they refund me in store credit, do they refund all the amount of momey so I can use it on another laptop?

if you check the forum or simpler my need help? link below you find all you need. But I find it hard to understand if you checked the forum why you still ordered the 3 pro This is the model with the most problems ever encountered in a single model line. 2 months ago Chris told the teclast is superior …

I didn’t see the forum when I ordered the laptop. I saw Chris’ and others’ reviews and I decided to buy it. And then I saw the forum and learned what’s going on with the new batches. And I regretted my order.

if you are smart just do not accept the delivery and get your money back after a while.

How can I do this? I haven’t even paid with PayPal unfortunately, I paid with a debit card…

Can you send me a link of the battery just in case? Also do you know if I can take the battery to a local tech store and have them replace it? And as I understand, you didn’t send the laptop back but they gave you a partial refund? How? Thanks for replying anyways.

Here’s the link for the battery: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/L552-3-7V-6000mAH-4212078-PLIB-Polymer-lithium-ion-Li-ion-battery-LG-cell-for/32531318879.html?spm=2114.search0104.3.2.5ed76c5ezgLRQX&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_5_10152_10151_10065_10344_10130_10068_10324_10342_10547_10325_10343_10340_10548_10341_10696_10192_10190_10084_10083_10618_10307_10820_10301_10821_10303_10869_10868_10059_100031_10103_10624_10623_10622_10621_10620,searchweb201603_16,ppcSwitch_2&algo_expid=5d70c63e-4f6d-46e6-ae9b-e5d51edc062b-0&algo_pvid=5d70c63e-4f6d-46e6-ae9b-e5d51edc062b&priceBeautifyAB=0 Here’s a guide euplio put together, it’s not too difficult, some minimal soldering required. I just submitted an order query and sent them a few photos of my faulty battery and a video showing a random shutdown. https://techtablets.com/forum/topic/bad-ezbook-pro-batteries-how-to-replace-step-by-step/page/4/#post-144482

Ok thank you for the links. Do you think it’s also necessary to get a 2a charger with the new battery? Or is the laptop’s one ok?

Also, can you please do a kind of a tutorial video when you install the battery? Because I’m not sure I understand what I’ve got to do.

@chupa so there’s no chance it’s gonna work ok? Fook me then…

Will be interesting to see if you receive a newer variant. Essentially exactly the same but with further issues ironed out. I’d say worse case scenario, the laptop will be fine except it may have the defective battery that a lot of us have fallen victim to. It may seem fine for a few months but the battery either drains fast or cuts out when a certain % is remaining. I have just ordered a replacement battery that fellow EZ book user euplio bought and fitted, so hoping I can resolve the issue myself. I bought from geekbuying and I raised a ticket with them, they wanted me to ship the laptop back to China for repair, but I requested a partial refund of $30 which at least covered the cost of the replacement battery.
