Has anyone solved the problem? I have the same issue and sometimes it takes about 20 seconds to wake up.
I think I have solved the screen on problem for me:
I have deactivated the clock app, because it runs in background when tablet is in sleep mode. After I have done this the screen goes intantly on if I press the power button.
I also Disabled auto update and tired it with diabled WIFI. Nothing changed. I don’t use a SD Card!
I have the same problem like Angelo with my X98 Plus 3G, with Mireks Rom and with the stock Rom! In Windows all works fine.
