OK, try these…

1. open this link
2. inside there are two files, download hi8_touch, execute it on your tablet,and/or reboot, see if works?
3. if not, try step 4
4. open this link
5. passcode for link is 976d, download the HI8WIN10.0719.rar.

extract to any folder

prepare your 8GB pen drive, format as FAT32, default allocation table, and then copy paste everything you’ve just extracted.

reboot tablet, choose boot manager, choose USB EFI.

then the windows 10 installation script will automatically runs, wait until the box turns green color, type EXIT, as soon as the tablet reboots, unplug your pen drive.

again, when rebooting, press ESC to enter boot manager, choose WINDOWS.

then tablet should boots directly to windows welcome screen, everything should work, wifi, touch, acc sensor, cameras, etc.

it should work, i’ve done dis with my tablet 10 times this week, for fun 😛

IF touchscreen still not working, perhaps, perhaps… your tablet got the different touch controller chip, which is not compatible with those drivers you’ve tried.

 

last resort, go to device manager, search for touch hardware/ acc sensor associated device ids, then go search it in google.

e.g : devid.info

i once had the 5800XM, the speaker produces very nice clarity.

assuming that the one you’re using is the genuine 5800XM’s, i bet now your tablet produces music clarity and loudness the same class as apple ipad’s speaker LOL.

i got the same problem as op.

flashtool cannot properly recognize adb fastboot.

checked the adb drivers = good.

check adb devices, none attached.

basically, the whole android partition is gone, so adb won’t connect to the tablet. i think we’re screwed, for now.

don’t put your hope.

those guys in chuwi company are busy making newer devices, i mean just look at the official support page, there’s not even single software support, let alone the lollipop update.

and the CM team won’t even take a look on those generic chinese brands.

i’m eager to flash windows 8.1 again to this tablet. i’m done with windows 10, too much cpu resources wasted and buggy wifi.

The operation is not supported on removable media. <— USB2 is intented for external hard drive/ portable hard drive only. (warning all data on your portable drive will be erased) so please make backup first.

 

you will need a USB hub with AC power to provide enough juice for the external hdd.

take caution, when i installed fresh windows 8, the diskpart accidentally remove my android partitions, i don’t know how it happened.

now my android is gone, but i can live with it, more space for windows, 16GB free !
