Hmm, that’s a shame 🙁
You can still try to run in a special boot mode as described here https://www.howtogeek.com/167723/how-to-disable-driver-signature-verification-on-64-bit-windows-8.1-so-that-you-can-install-unsigned-drivers (Option Two). I think installation of the right button driver is the key.
Good luckJanuary 3, 2018 at 2:00 pm #76384Check 4. and 5. line in my .bat file (bcdedit …), these are important. There are typing error in the original install.bat file!
January 3, 2018 at 1:27 pm #76381Hi,
the same problem occurred to me on the K9C6 after the Fall Update. I resolved it in this way:
1. Download drivers for X98 Pro here (https://techtablets.com/teclast-x98-pro/downloads/) Drivers – X98 PRO Driver Win10 Teclast Drivers Pack , if you don’t have it.
2. Unpack them into the directory.
3. Download this install-but.txt to that directory and rename it to install-but.bat.
4. Run install-but.bat as Administrator.
5. Restart tablet (maybe not needed, but I recommend it)
It installs only a few drivers from the set and it will list a few errors, but it works.
Give feedback if it works for you too.Attachments:

there are some scenarios how to do it:
- If you do not need Android:
a) new Windows installation – boot from Windows install USB, remove all partitions and install clean Windows
b) without Windows installation – boot from USB with some advanced partition manager (like MiniTool Partition Wizard), remove all Android partitions (leave EFI, Windows and Restore partitions), resize Windows partition to max size. If tablet not boot correctly to Windows, boot from Windows restore USB and do a boot repair. - If you want Android, but only with minimum space:
a) new Windows installation – download X98_PRO_android_5.1_mirek190_v6.0 rom distribution from his thread, select partition file for smaller android size and flash new Android according to instruction in that thread. Then boot from Windows install USB and install clean Windows to rest of space.
b) without new Windows installation (my way a few weeks ago) – backup Windows and Restore partitions through some backup app (I used Acronis TrueImage). Download and install mirek190_v6.o android like in 2.a). Then boot from (Acronis) restore USB and restore and resize Windows partitions back to rest of space. If tablet not boot correctly to Windows, boot from Windows restore USB a do a boot repair.
The last scenario worked for me. I hope this will work for you too. But you do everything at your own risk, of course.

try this driver – it is original driver from Teclast. Unpack it somewhere and run install.bat as administrator. After reboot it should be ok.

I think that the only way to repair is replace it with new one like this https://www.aliexpress.com/item/9-7-For-TECLAST-X98-pro-Original-New-Touch-Screen-Tablet-Touch-Panel-digitizer-Glass-Sensor/32773622874.html</span>
February 3, 2017 at 6:58 am #61488Hi, I saved it here in this post. Unpack it somewhere in Windows OS and run 1_dump_bios.bat as Administrator. BIOS will be saved in BIOS.bin file.

What version do you use?
Info from the russian forum:
1.13 – slow boot
1.62 – faster boot = cca 25% faster than 1.13
3.01 – lower RAM timming = 10-15% worse memory read
I used version 1.62, but I have trouble with it, two times I “lost” eMMC and tablet boots to BIOS only. After new BIOS flash (1.13) it was OK again (no data on eMMC lost).
@airbites
Could you dump your 1.63 BIOS and save it here, please?December 15, 2016 at 9:08 am #58713Some performance results are here http://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=681127&st=4880#entry49657915, but it’s in russian. I red this forum a long time ago and I vaguely remember that there was perhaps a problem with the shorter battery life in version 3.01, but I’m not sure.
We can do this topic as a bios archive. If someone has a different version of bios, which is not published here, dump it and store it here please. Dump tool is attached. Thx
I’m looking specifically for version 1.09, which was originally on my tablet (purchased on 2015/11/11 at Aliexpress), which had unlocked advanced options, like in the picture. Unfortunately I corrupted it via Windows Update before I made a backup 🙁

the last official bios for download is 1.13. I’ve found versions 1.62 and 3.01 on russian web 4pda.ru. I’ve tried v.1.62 and it is working, but I’ve had trouble with it like I described here http://techtablets.com/forum/topic/only-boot-to-bios-with-update-1-13/ . Then I returned to version 1.13. Version 3.01 I’ve never tested, but there are good experiences in the russian forum too.
There is a flashing app for windows and bios files with 1.13, 1.62 and 3.01 at attachment.
Try to back up your bios 1.14 with attached 1_dump_bios.bat script and save it here, please. I would like to see if it gets better 🙂
thx
