Has there been any news of a firmware update then? Or something to fix the battery and screen issues? I hear that gearbest is a good place to order from. And possibly dealsmachine. Any news on an update or a way to fix the issues would be appreciated as I don’t want to get rid of my tablet, however, Geekbuying has not responded to me since they sent the tablet out. So if I want my money back, I might have to open a dispute anyway. And I don’t really want to do that. But I can’t have the tablet turning on and off as I do use it for business not just personal use. Thank you for all your help and advice! 🙂

I’ve asked for my money back, but if they suggest a replacement, I will think about that. I really like the tablet just want one that works.

So there has been a lot of faulty ones? Do you know a place to buy from? If my new tablet ends up the same, I’ll just have to wait for a firmware update if there is one. But I can’t have a tablet that turns off all the time for no reason and has a corrupt screen. I wasn’t blaming them specifically, but they should test all the products they receive before sending them out, thats their job as a retailer. Thank you for your advice. I was thinking about VC Mall but I won’t go there then. Any other ideas?

Thanks so much for your help and talking to me about it. It’s been really hard and stressful dealing with it so a talk was nice haha. 🙂

I have opened emails with them (GeekBuying) and I’m waiting for a response from them about a full refund. I don’t know if they will but I’ll be sure to let you know whats up with it. It does it every now and then with that screen thing. Well I’m hoping they fix it soon.

Yeah, definitely why it was unwanted. I updated mine, all my drivers, and it’s still doing it, plus I now have things like this happeninhg and I have no clue what it is:

Screen looks corrupted. Shuts down whenever for whatever reason. Fixes itself then goes back to corrupt screen and turning off. Has a lag when turning back on after turning off suddenly. Won’t turn back on without being plugged into the charger. I’ve attached some files, and if someone could give me some advice: I want my money back, should I return the tablet because it’s obviously faulty?

Well, thank you, sadly, that makes me feel better that I’m not the only one haha.

I will monitor it, and if it keeps going off at 61% I will return it. I am not putting up with a faulty product I paid so much for. Did you buy yours from Geekbuying as well?
