Yesterday I had a similar problem with the Windows 10 sign out. I have a 128gb SSD installed in my EZB3P. After I clicked sign out, the computer was stuck in the sign out blue screen, with the circular wait icon rotating. So I hit the power key and turned off the laptop. Then, when I restarted again, thinking everything would be back to normal, the computer suddenly did not recognize the existence of a SSD and could not boot into Windows, saying that Windows needs to be repaired and the startup file is missing. I don’t have Windows 10 on the internal EMMC drive after cloning the image to SSD. I’m using the EMMC for storage. I also went into the bios and found that the option for booting into the SSD has disappeared. After numerous tries of restarting and resetting the laptop, I still could not see the SSD in the bios.
Today, I opened the bottom panel and took out the SSD. Then I put it back in again. To my surprise, Windows 10 booted up properly. However, I noticed something odd. Whenever I screwed the bottom panel back into place, the laptop would experience the same problem previously. The SSD cannot be found in bios and I cannot load Windows 10. But if I leave the panel off, everything works as it should. I’m thinking perhaps the panel is in contact with the SSD itself or the screw that is holding the SSD in place. I will place some non conductive tape on the inside and see how that goes. So far, I’ve been running without the bottom panel.
